It sounds really bad ass, you can check out the Atlus videos on it. This is the game that I bought a ps3 for.

By the way, I've had the soundtrack for a few weeks and I've really been enjoying it. I'm also picking up KH for the kids.

Funny, I downloaded the demo thinking it was something new, a sequel to the first Sigma game. Quickly discovered I'd already played it as 'Ninja Gaiden 2' on my 360. So it seems to be another of those 'ports' where they add in some additional content but I can't imagine there's any reason to get it again if one already has the 360 version, yes?

Frustrating, sometimes, but you feel SO full of accomplishment when you take down each of the bosses (and for that matter, just finish the level itself without dying). It's incredibly old-school because of that, because it's based on your skill and memorization above everything else.

Isn't The Strike coming this week as well, or is that one of those wacky Sunday releases?
As for me, I'm interested in that Dragon Quest Wars for the DSi, but I'll wait for some reviews.
I'll probably pick up Ninja Gaiden 2 at some point, but I hear the PS3 version isn't as good this time around, so I'll probably pick up the 360 version this time.
I'm interested in WoO:BtYBR, too, though I've heard the controls are a pain in the ass. I'll be waiting on revs/imps. Please let us know what you think, Eddie and misguided!
I'm definitely IN for Dead Space: Extraction. The reviews have been very good.
I think I'm IN on Tornado Outbreak, and I think some of you will be, too. It's from Loose Cannon studios, which is made up of guys from Sucker Punch. It's a Katamari-style game, with some added depth, apparently. And a two-player mode. It was originally called Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals, if anyone remembers previews. Hopefully, some reviews will hit before the game's released.

Odd - a quick check over at EBGames shows it already came out. A Sunday release perhaps, and why I didn't catch it (as I tend to gather these then)? But yes, it's due out this week, so I've made a few modifications.

From Eurogamer's review: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/demons-souls-review?page=1To summarise, you end up playing the vast majority of Demon's Souls as either a dead person or a dead person with no money. Every time you die, you start again at the beginning, with all the enemies you just struggled to overcome back where they were. There is no compromise. There's not even a pause button. You get better, or you get nowhere. To those who like that gameplay have fun. I guess.

While I never played Demons Soul, I can tell from your description that its something I should stay well clear off... ;-) Nah, it's cause death is handled differently in the game. when you die you become a sort of ghost and have to fight to get your body and stuff back. It sounds really bad ass, you can check out the Atlus videos on it. This is the game that I bought a ps3 for. I've read a few reviews of Demon Souls and I want no part of that game. It looks incredibly frustrating and not fun at all. What's fun about dieing and losing all of your stuff and having the enemies respawn? Yuck. Anyway. Nothing for me this week. I like challenging RPGs. I'm a masochist like that, I suppose. It's not so much that you just keep dying as it is you have to use your head otherwise you WILL keep dying.

I just ordered Motorstorm: Arctic Edge for the PSP from Amazon (which isn't in the top list, btw, along with a few other games I think).
Good choice the game is good. My review should be up today.

ninja gaiden sigma 2 - because someone up here had to ... I'm working on my review for it. It's totally worth it - you won't be disappointed. That is true, but I never played the 360 version.
