360: Heroes Over Europe - maybe, but it needs to have really good imps/revs coming right after IL-2 Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - eventually, still have to finish the first one Need for Speed: Shift - I'm surprised this is looking like a yes. WET - liked the demo, but I hope to see some reviews before it's actually released. Tentative IN.
PC: Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim - loved the first one, but need to hear if the gameplay holds up
Wii: Toy Story Mania - I'm interested in this, but I can't remember why
DS: Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story Scribblenauts
The two DS games are the only for sure 100% INs on the list, and I'm very excited about both.
Also, if you're getting them, go to TRU. They're giving gift cards totalling $25 on Tues. There's some confusion on M&L, so be prepared (the deal was supposed to be Sunday, but the game's not hitting until Tues).

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Wet for the 360 plus Batman Arkham Asylum and Red Faction Gorillaz for the PC will be eventual purchases, but I'm interested to see what Direct2Drive puts on sale today.
alos, I'm hoping someone gets smart and realizes a port of Scribblenauts to the PC would be awesome.

Still waiting for the Nintendo downloads, but there is an update to the Nintendo Channel. It's a pretty slick update, actually, with a lot of new features (including a rating system and the ability to watch vids in high quality).
And this week's XBLA game is supposedly Panzer General: Allied Assault, which looks interesting.
Also, Lode Runner is the Deal of the Week at 800 space bucks.

NHL 10 for the 360. I'm hopeful it can unseat Batman as my GOTY for 2009 (NHL 09 was my GOTY for 2008).
Was thinking about M:UA2 but I can't afford both games so this one will have to wait until October sometime.

NFS: Shift and Scribblenauts. Disney's Ultimate Alliance 2 is a possibility depending on whether it's decent as a single-player game or not.

Really wish they would release NHL 10 on the PC, and not a gimped version but the 360/PS3 version... especially since I can use a 360 gamepad on my PC.

I think you may be right about the XBLA stuff, MO, but we'll see...
However, I do know the Nintendo stuff. Sorry it's not in a good format. No press release this week for some reason.
WiiWare Spaceball: Revolution 800pts Not related to the movie Texas Hold 'Em Poker 600pts Mart Racer 800pts Shopping cart racing
VC Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge
DSiWare Oscar in Toyland 800pts Art Academy 800pts
The only one that's really worth anything is the Spaceball one, apparently, but it's only kinda fun. Mart Racer does have WiFi play, which makes it unique for a Nintendo release.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and NFS Shift on 360.
I have MUA2 and NFS Shift pre-ordered from Amazon, I was originally planning to buy MUA2 and WET but Shift looks so good I had to replace WET. I'll get WET eventually though, it's not that I can't afford all three I just don't want to have all three sitting in front of me begging to be played. Especially since I'll be picking up ODST and Aion the following week.

I wonder why there are no reviews for Scribblenauts when its out tomorrow Lots of impressions are on GAF as apparently the street date was widely broken. Basic impressions are that it's massively fun with the main negative being controls that can be frustrating at times. Apparently the game can get "confused" often about whether you're pointing to something or indicating you want the character to move. But lots of amazement over the variety of objects in the game. There's a full list of all 22k+ objects floating around there too, if you want those kind of spoilers. An embargo on game reviews doesn't mean much in regards to quality (unlike movies usually). Fallout 3's reviews were embargoed as well, due to a magazine exclusive.

360: Need for Speed: Shift - I'm surprised this is looking like a yes.
Just read the review in Gamesinformer. While the number rating isn't too bad, in the text they were less than impressed with the game. The handling is a bit more arcadish than they would have thought, there's practically no backstory, and the range of cars and tracks, while substantial, isn't in the league of Forza or Gran Turismo. I'm still awaiting word of a demo.

Nice. Guess I'll go see about actually downloading my IL-2 Sturmovik purchase from gog.com. Their review of IL-2 for the 360 was pretty good; they gave it an 8/10, which looks to be the average on Metacritic. From my understanding the console IL-2 is a totally different game than the PC one(s) you'd get on GOG.

Probably Scribblenauts, and maybe Majesty 2 pending reviews (and whether or not my system can run the demo). Might be interested in Mario & Luigi, but probably not until I can find a used version. I love the RPG trappings of the previous games, but the Mario universe does nothing for me.

I keep going back and forth on whether to pick up Scribblenauts. I'm seeing people say it's an amazing, innovative title, and I'm seeing others say most words you use will conjure up a useless item which then disappears.
One example was 'vanilla'. It appears in the game, and then disappears.
I have read that the game really gets interesting when you play the levels in challenge mode which require you to solve the level three separate times without repeating words. That definitely sounds like a challenge.

Unless I can change the control scheme from having throttle and rudder both on the right stick, I won't be touching it. Last time I played the demo, I hadn't played BF:1943. After that, I can't handle the IL-2 console controls.
