So many games, so little time.

PS2:

PS3:
FaceBreaker
NFL Head Coach 09
Rapala's Fishing Frenzy
Vampire Rain: Altered Species

PSP:

360:
FaceBreaker
Infinite Undiscovery
NFL Head Coach 09
Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball
Rapala's Fishing Frenzy
Shred Nebula
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Warhammer: Battle March

Wii:
Active Life Outdoor Challenge
Cabela's Legendary Adventures
Defendin De Penguin
Hell's Kitchen
Rapala's Fishing Frenzy
The Price is Right
Clu Clu Land (VC)
Super Mario RPG (VC)
My Aquarium (WiiWare)

DS:
Defendin De Penguin
James Pond - Codename Robocod
Hell's Kitchen
Lock's Quest
Mazes of Fate
PictoImage
Spore Creatures
The Price is Right
Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise

PC:
Baseball Mogul 2009
Brain Games Crosswords & Word Puzzles
Brain Games Mahjongg
Combat Mission: Shock Force - Marines
Cooking Academy
Doggie Daycare
FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage
Ford Racing: Off Road
GTR Evolution
My Dream Job: Babysitter
OPERATION Mania
Perimeter 2: New Earth
Reel Deal Card Games '09
Reel Deal Casino Millionaire's Club
Reel Deal Slots Blackbeard's Revenge
Spore
The Price is Right
Wedding Dash 2: Rings Around the World

Two things:

1) Mercenaries 2 came out yesterday, so it won't be repeated again.
2) There's too many releases to keep track of, so I'll be damned if this list is accurate anymore. Hopefully I at least got the important titles.

As for my purchases - I would've bought Infinite Undiscovery, but between Tales and Mercs 2 last week, I'm just a little too busy. See, Publishers? I would've bought your game, but you released it with too damn many other fucking games.

What are you buying this week?

I'm going to have a look at Flatout Ultimate Carnage. It's on Steam but I'll see if there's a demo.

The other titles I'm looking at are all arcade stuff:

* Braid

* Bionic Commando Rearmed

* The Last Guy (PSN Store)

Wii VC has Super Mario RPG!!!  and Clu Clu Land.   Wiiware has the avoidable My Aquarium.

The only thing for me this week (apart from SMRPG) will be Lock's Quest on the DS.  Supposed to be kinda amazing.

I may get Spore, too.

I'm toying with Mercenaries 2, but I'm trying to wait for a price drop.

I really didn't think I'd be buying any more VC games for a while, but Super Mario RPG is a must have for me; downloading it today.  slywink thumbsup  Too bad about the other VC game -Clu Clu Land- being such a poor offering. Oh well I guess it makes some sense to Big N to offer poor quality alongside a masterpiece.
For 500 points My Aquarium actually looks quite decent. I'm thinking of picking it up for my son only because it will let him raise some fish that he couldn't possibly house in his real aquarium.

Spores a possibility for me this week, but it depends upon whether it will run on my 2nd PC.

Broke down and got Tales of Vesperia last week, so nothing for me this week.  Will also be paying off my Rock Band 2 and Fable 2 preorders in full (so I don't spend the money elsewhere).

I'll be renting Viva Pinata 2 for the 360 and the Spore game for the DS.  I suspect we'll end up buying Viva eventually.

Since Sunday is the start of the week, I already bought Mercenaries 2 [360].

I had been considering Viva Pinata 2, but I think it will have to wait until after the holidays since there are so many other games coming out soon.

Lock's Quest looks like it might be cool, if there are enough RPG elements to keep the game interesting. I like the whole castle defense aspect, but I'll wait to see if there is any meat on this title's bones.

So for me it is:

Infinite Undiscovery
Viva Pinata

Spore and Viva Pinata 2 depending on reviews. Of course I haven't turned my 360 on in months, need to make sure it still works.

Since the list is not updated\posted until Monday the logical week is Mon-Sun. which will put Spores logical release (GT) on this week list.

Interested in seeing Lock's Quest reviews, but the fact that I'm typing this on my work computer on Labor Day means I probably won't have time to play much of anything.

Spores a possibility for me this week, but it depends upon whether it will run on my 2nd PC.

The Eurogamer review is what is keeping me away from My Aquarium:

Quote
There's more to it than the broadly similar (but twice as pricey) Pokιmon Ranch, but even judged as an interactive distraction, it still feels a little light. The whole appeal hinges on how well you're able to customise the aquarium - it is called My Aquarium, after all. And it's here that it falls flat. The decorations are minimal and uninspired. There's not even a plastic treasure chest or bubbling deep-sea diver model, let alone anything more innovative. Why not let people use their own picture files as the backdrop, for instance?

I'm certainly not averse to this sort of thing appearing on WiiWare but My Aquarium feels like half an idea, lazily executed. If you like the idea of a virtual fish-tank, and don't mind that your input is minimal, then the price is about as right as it'll ever get for this sort of thing.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I was referring to the PSX remake of DQ IV. I think Enix canceled it a couple of months before they merged with Square.
