BIOSHOCK!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

After reading reviews and playing just a few minutes of the demo I've decided that I must have this game.  And because I'm so excited about the game I only played the demo for a few minutes so as not to spoil anything.  The reviews are just ridiculously high, even for the stingy review sites.  I wouldn't be able to call myself a gamer if I were to skip such an intriguing title.

I'm so anxious to play that my friend and his wife can even sense the anticipation and knowing that I won't have my 360 back until Wednesday have invited me and my wife over for dinner on Tuesday specifically so that I can play the game on their 360 and won't have to wait until Wednesday to play.

I'm also going to grab Madden '08.  I'll finally have my 360 back this Wednesday and can't wait to get back to gaming.

That's awesome!  Take Simba for protection if the game gives you the willies   slywink icon_wink

-edit Tomorrow will be one of those rare times on my 360 where almost everyone on my Friend's List will be playing Bioshock

Assuming the PC demo runs well enough, I'm sure I'll get Bioshock tomorrow. I know the forum effect will get me eventually, so I might as well buy the game before I learn any spoilers and while it's on sale.

I'll be picking up:

360:
BioShock

PC:
BioShock

I had always planned on getting the PC version, but then I preordered the 360 version as well so I can take it with me for a bachelor weekend I've got coming up.

Don't think I'll have time to play them, but I'll definitely be buying them.

No kidding! I've asked myself that with every new purchase over the past year+  ninja2

there can be only one.  and that one is bioshock.  the ce is waiting for me, preordered.  if it isn't there, watch for headline news and a jackie boy press release about video games inciting violence.  icon_evil

Nothing.  But if someone would keep their copy of Bioshock around, I'll be sure to look for it in the Trading Forum when you're ready to move on to something else.

Did anyone by chance hear of any midnight releases, or is this only reserved for GTA's and Halo's?
Since this has been out so early (in store stocks) Walmart will be rolling it out at midnight right?

Bioshock of course.

A little lesser known game. It's set in an underwater utopia. You guys should look into it, called Bioshock.

Possibly super metroid. But that will be a purchase regardless. Love that game.

Bioshock, and picked up Rune Factory today since my DS needed something new. Also got Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Monster Madness: Battle for Surburbia in trades this week. Going to be a busy week, thank goodness I'm not really interested in anything til Eternal Sonata.

I'm still trying to get my financial bearings again, so nothing for me.  Bioshock eventually though.

Since my 360 is currently dead...nothing.  Although I did just preorder a new PSP, if that counts.

I called my local Gamestop at 7:45PM to ask if they'd slip me a copy of Bioshock tonight instead of making me wait until morning, but he wasn't having any of it. The manager who used to work there would hook me up with stuff like that all the time but this new guy is a company man who plays by the rules. Little twat.
