*insert something funny here*
PS2:
PS3: Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (PSN)
PSP:
360: Smash Court Tennis 3 Too Human Galaga Legions (VC)
Wii:
DS: Commando: Steel Disaster
PC: Shattered Suns Two Worlds: Epic Edition
Talk about a drab week. But don't worry - things will be ramping up VERY soon, in the usual tradition of releasing all the games worth buying in the same 3 months of the year. Bastards.
What are you buying this week?

I might buy Too Human with Gamestop's 2 games +$20 deal but I honestly doubt I will have much time to play it.
I bought Grid last week and still haven't even put it in the PS3.
Madden, Head Coach, and Rock Band are taking up most of my gaming time right now.

Nothing. I'll probably get Too Human when it gets to the $30 price point though.

I love me some Galaga so I'll have to at least download the trial. I don't have time to think of Too Human let alone play something like that right now. By the time I do it will probably be at the $30 price point anyway.

Definitely Ratchet and Clank, the two Duran Duran Rock Band DLC tracks, and maybe Too Human. Possibly Galaga as well if it does what Pac Man CE did for Pac Man.

Galaga Legion is on my "try" list. Too Human quite interests me, so I'll throw it on my GameQ and probably try it out later this year or early 2009.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Pac Man CE and now Space Invaderes Extreme (where most of my limited gaming time has gone this week. I can't stop playing it). Fars, the new Galaga is an XBLA release... right?

Too Human. I am totally stoked for a dungeon hack and slash. Despite all the press, I'm still positive on this one...but really, I'm not expecting a huge game. I'm expecting a loot lugging, monster bashing, semi-sci-fi RPG title. Next week is going to hurt though... Tales, Mercs2, Infinite Undiscovery... (I may have an extra week on IU)

Yup! And I loved classic Galaga, one of my favorites. If this is as crazy and fun like the Pac-Man CE was as the screenshots indicate, I'll definitely buy it.

You know, looking over release lists, outside of some XBLA titles, my next actual retail game purchase won't be until September, and that'll be two titles in all likelihood: Dragon Quest 4 on the DS (heck yeah, day one!) and Rock Band 2 (just the game, no peripherals).

Like everyone is saying, I'm in on Galaga if it's half as good as either Pac-man CE or Space Invaders Extreme.
If the reviews are good on Too Human, I'll get it, otherwise I'll wait 'til it drops.
I will get at least Duran Duran for RB, maybe Devo, too.
R&C is going to have to wait. I'm playing through the series and am only on 2. I have the next gen R&C, but stopped playing so I could do the others.
On VC this week is Megaman!!! and Neo Turf Masters. Wiiware has Midnight Pool, which is cool on cell phones.

I wouldn't expect the reviews to be good scorewise. I won't even be looking at scores, but will be reading the content to see if what bothered the reviewer would bother me. The sliding around, for instance, doesn't bother me.

1Ups review is out: C-At the very least, the cyber-Norse concept of Too Human is a good one that's worth exploring further, just not in this context. The game is simply schizophrenic; it attempts to be all things to all people and never succeeds in executing any of them well. The end result is in dire need of polish and focus, and that doesn't solely apply to gameplay mechanics. There's absolutely no reason why a game released in 2008 should have a bug where characters can fall through solid ground and into some pseudoabyss.
http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3169393&p=4I'm not expecting reviews to be good, either. I was kind of planning to wait, but maybe everything came together in the final product.

Too Human quite interests me, so I'll throw it on my GameQ and probably try it out later this year or early 2009. same here. oddly enough, Commando: Steel Disaster looks like a portable metal slug clone and is only $20, the perfect spot for cheap ds games. wait for reviews though, as i still have a # of games to budget for.

Part of me is tempted to pick up Too Human.
The other part of me knows that I'd barely play it before the better games start pouring in. And it sounds like even if it's worth playing, it's not necessarily going to be worth $60.
I guess I will do my best to skip it but the day it comes out in stores will be a bit of a hurdle.

Is Two Worlds: Epic Edition just an expansion? Is it coming to the 360? I actually liked the game quite a bit, but it was really hurt by rampant technical issues.

According to IGN it's PC only. Sounds like it just adds online stuff too. Two Worlds: Epic Edition contains contain the original game and the add-ons "Tainted Blood" and "Curse of Souls", putting the massive world of Antaloor and countless hours of adventuring into one tremendous package. The original Two Worlds gave players a huge world and hundreds of adventures to undertake. The expanded content of Epic Edition adds over 70 online quests, eight new multiplayer maps, an innovative player-versus-player challenge where opponents battle to control magical orbs within a variety of arenas, and introduces the town of Tharnburg where players can train their warriors in various skills and challenge other players to combat in the Gladiator District's huge arena.

As usual, nothing that is actually new, lol.
I ordered Sims 2 Castaway online - if it ever arrives, and I get hooked into it, I'll be playing that a while. If not, maybe Too Human (gotta go find the demo and check it out.)

Sorry if I got your hopes up Caine, but it's Disgaea 3 on the PS3. I'm...a really big Disgaea fan. The fact that it is already getting a current generation release despite being the series that's the least graphics-oriented makes me all kinds of happy.

I would so be buying Disgaea 3 if it was on something other than the PS3... or if I knew someone that had a PS3... Or could justify buying a PS3...
