Another week, more releases, and a new forum. What are you picking up?

PS2:
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII

PSP:
Super Monkey Ball Adventure
Payout Poker & Casino

Xbox:
Xyanide
World Racing 2

360:
Ninety-Nine Nights

Cube:

GBA:

DS:
Deep Labyrinth
Konductra
Freedom Wings

PC:
DarkStar One
F.E.A.R. Combat
Victoria: Revolutions
Civil Air Patrol: Search & Rescue
World Racing 2

As for me, definitely Darkstar One. Enjoyed the demo quite a bit, and open ended space shooters are rather rare nowadays IMHO. Maybe Ninety-Nine Nights, depending if I want a fun hack-and-slash to keep me occupied.

Which is the only thing I will be getting, if it makes it to stores this week (ships on the 17th).

Nothing.  I just reinstalled FS2004 and bought a bunch of add-ons.  So that blew my budget.

Already played it through completely 3 times (actually I gave up on the last two missions on the PS2 because I hate the controller, but I call that complete in my mind - other 2 plays were on PC). I did the same with Vice City (minus the giving up on the PS2 part), I think 3 is my limit. I need a new one. smile

N3...also just got Ouendan and Touch Panic in from Japan for my DS.
I'm interested in Konductra, but that's one I want to check out further before I get it. It looks like it could be really neat, or sort of meh like Polarium.

I may pick up N3, although not really much point since I have no 360 atm.  Perhaps this is a good thing for me wallet.

Despite the terrible review at Gamespot, I'm getting N3. I don't mind the repetitive nature of the game and it looks fantastic. I'll also pick up Darkstar One.

I am interested in Dirge of Cerebus: FFVII, Xyanide, Deep Labyrinth, Konductra, and Freedom Wings, but I'll wait for reviews or impressions first. It could be an expensive week for me. Hopefully most of these game will suck.  Tongue

I was thinking about Depp Labyrinth as well, but the first review over at RPGamer (I think) really turned me off. Besides - I have too many GBA/DS games to play at work as it is.  icon_biggrin

And I'm debating on holding off on any major titles, as the first 360 RPG (Enchanted Arms) is due out at the end of the month. About time they got one.

FEAR Combat is just the multiplayer from FEAR being released for free to everyone.  The FEAR expansion isn't due out until October or later.

I kinda want to give Dirge of Cerberus a try... but I honestly think I'm going to wait for a price drop.  I don't know, the little PS2er inside of me cries at the fact I'm waiting to play it, but honestly I haven't played much PS2 in quite a long time.

And yes LE - you're the only (geekfest) person that's buying that guide   icon_biggrin

The IGN review is just as bad as Gamespot.  5.6.

Ah, well.  I may still get it when the price comes down.

So for years, I thought I'd never spend monthly money on a game, mostly because they were all PC games, but also due to a refusal to pay to play.  Well, another month passes that I am not even thinking of games to buy.  If I ever finish with FFXI and Oblivion, plus the games I bought at launch day (Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, um another...) - then all these super games you've been mentioning for months will be cheap or on the Classic hits list.

So, no new games for me!  Roll Eyes
