line rider. saw a pretty cool commercial with that in the background. why no ds version? this would be a great little drawing game on the go.
There is a DS version. Comes out the same day, too. cool. add that to the buy pile. i may even sub that instead of the pub games. |

Probably all of the above if PeteRock succeeds in persuading me to pick up Madden. But I've been so engrossed in Civ:Rev, Braid and GeoWars2 that I just don't know when I'll have time to fit anything else in at this point.

Probably all of the above if PeteRock succeeds in persuading me to pick up Madden. But I've been so engrossed in Civ:Rev, Braid and GeoWars2 that I just don't know when I'll have time to fit anything else in at this point.
What would the NFL season be without our weekly Philly/Dallas grudge matches and Jaime screaming obscenities in the background? WHAT KEEPS THE COWS IN? DEEEEEE-FENSE! |

Whaa.... explain, please. The online league mode in NHL 2009, referred to as its "MMO mode". More info: "EA Sports, specifically its Vancouver branch, is changing that classic paradigm by delivering what they're calling sports gaming's first Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) mode, branded as EA Sports Hockey League in NHL 09." Create a team (comprised of 50 people), you can play from 3 - 6 people (players on the ice + goalie) per game, earn points for your play & for your team, rise through the ranks... just a quick note for others looking at BC:R. tearing issues apparently hamper the 360 version, and the well known limitations of the Dpad are noticeable. the ps3 version also offers remote play. no word on tearing there yet as the psn likes to make us wait an extra day.
core gameplay is good however, regardless of which version.
