Quick note - I know some of these are WiiWare/DSiWare games, but I don't know which as of this posting. I'll fix that as info comes in thanks to those who love to keep helping me out every week.

PS2:
Madden NFL 10

PS3:
Madden NFL 10
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PSN)

PSP:
Madden NFL 10

360:
Madden NFL 10
Trials HD (XBLA)

Wii:
Active Life: Extreme Challenge
ATV Quad Kings
Brave: A Warrior's Tale
Madden NFL 10
Phantom Brave: We Meet Again
Super Star Wars (VC - SNES)
NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits (WiiWare)
Rock N' Roll Climber (WiiWare)

DS:
C.O.R.E.
Fossil Fighters
Imagine: Soccer Captain
Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters (DSiWare)

PC:
C.O.R.E.
Death to Spies: Moment of Truth
Joint Operations: Complete Collection
Still Life 2
Texas Cheat 'Em

As for me, Steam's weekend deals has taken all my money for this week, so I'm not buying anything else. What are you buying this week?

God, they are still trying to milk some life out of Joint Ops.  Amazing game back in the day, but with the Battlefield series, does anyone even play this?

May pop for the new Death To Spies game as I did enjoy the first one. Have had Still Life 2 for awhile now as a digital download and (thankfully) never got sucked onto the Madden merry-go-round.

If this year's Madden is out, I guess that means it's finally time to give Madden 09 a try.  biggrin

This makes me sad.  There are too many good games for the system for it to just be used as a Super Nintendo.

Oh I'm not in the "there's nothing worth playing on the Wii" faction.  It's just that my gaming time is really limited these days and whenever I'm ready for something new there just always seems to be things on the 360, PS3, or PC higher on the "to buy" list than the Wii titles I'm interested in.  Super Star Wars just happens to get placed pretty high, though the more I think about the prospect of eventually paying $30 for the whole series the less appealing it becomes.

I wish I could agree with you.

Although our Wii did actually get turned on this weekend for some Wii Sports Resort action.  It was pretty fun with a bunch of people playing. No way I could see myself playing it solo though.

It won't cost you that much; 1 point = 1 penny in Big N's world. You'll be able to all 3 SSW games for a whopping $24. Me thinks your thinking too much in XBLA dollars.  slywink

SSW will be the only purchase for me this week.

It's already at 83% on Gamerankings (it's been out in Europe).  5 reviews (including Eurogamer), and none are below 80%.

Doh, you're right.  I am indeed too used to doing the XBLA funny money conversion.  You wouldn't think a whopping $6 would matter much but the $24 pricetag does seem a lot more palatable.

Although it's a PC title, since this is not a "What console games are you buying this week?" thread, I'll mention Joint Operations: Complete Collection. I played the hell out of the original game and it's expansion. True 64 player matches, huge maps, decent lack of lag. What caused me to give up on it was the declining number of players and the huge increase of cheaters, to the point that every match seemed to be infested with hackers.

I might have to consider getting the new Joint Operations: Complete Collection if it seems that a number of folks do jump aboard. I'm not thrilled that it's going to be a monthly payment, but since it starts off with ninety days free, that should be enough time to see if it's worth continuing.

According to IGN's review (8.3, BTW):

Quote
This series has been available on PC for a few years with the original Trials and its sequel, Trials 2 Second Edition. Even though the XBLA version isn't called Trials 3, it is the third game in the series and offers new levels and improvements to the editor.
