Is it fall all of a sudden? This is the first time that I've seen more than one game that looks interesting. That said, I think I'll sit back and wait for a review or comments here on GT on a few games (Alone in the Dark, Battlefield: Bad Company, and FFTA2) before grabbing anything.

Just purchased Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (PC) from steam last night. It's on sale through today (6/23) for $29. Played some co-op last night and it was a blast.
I might be buying a few of the Pixies songs for Rock Band.
My next full game purchase will probably be Civ Revolutions for the 360.

10 days ago I was a 360 owner and this would have been easier. Now I have all 3 consoles and no idea what platform to buy Top Spin 3 on.
I will likely be getting FFTA2 for DS.
Definitely getting Top Spin 3 for 360 or PS3, just in time for Wimbledon!
Need to read up on Alone in the Dark.

Bad Company on the 360. This is a "maybe" for me. I wasn't wildly impressed with the demo, but the lag was horrible and that probably colored my judgment. I'll wait for some impressions before I commit. |

I'm not sure this counts because it's not retail, but SimCity Destinations for PC will be available in the EA store June 24. I'll be getting that. I was going to get FFT but decided against it, since I'm still playing Etrian Odyssey 2.

FFTA2 is on my rental list and we got GH DS for my daughter (birthday gift). I'm not planning on buying anything for myself though unless I end up breaking down to buy last week's Space Invader Extreme.

So I will take a wait and see It isn't horrible (the game is truly too easy) but they do seem to focus on you rather than your invincible squadmates a bit more than is natural. Writing the review right now in fact. |

i should load up the bf:bc demo and see if i like it despite having a falling out with the game during the beta. just not my cup of tea i guess.
alone in the dark is in my gamefly queue, so we'll see if i get lucky with it.

I'm not buying anything, but I'm actually curious about Wall-E. I heard that it's some kind of physics puzzle platformer, and that sounds right up my alley if they did it right. We'll see what reviews say after I've seen the movie.

Probably nothing for me although FF TA2 is a possibility. I really thought Alone in the Dark was going to be a day 1 for me but the reviews I've read mean I'll likely pass until it's binware or rent it.
This weeks VC games are Alex Kidd in Miracle World [SMS] and Burning Fight [NeoGeo]. I've played both of them on Gametap, but haven't finished either. It's the 1st Alex Kidd game and it's a very good game albeit a bit dated compared to the later games on the Genesis. I can't recommend Burning Fight as there's far better fighters for the NeoGeo, some of which are already available on VC and XBLA. This weeks WiiWare game is Gyrostar which looks very interesting and actually more in line with some of the games we've seen on XBLA.

Supreme Commander has my eye...but I'm wary. When I play it and Forged Alliance on the PC, I'm in huge battles that drag my PC down. I wonder if the 360 will really be up to the task, so I'm waiting on reviews.

I'll probably pick up the DS Guitar Hero, unless I start seeing reviews that are the exact opposite of IGN's extremely positive one.
Alone in the Dark I may get this, just 'cause I want to support the effort they made, but I hear it's kind of a mess, so I may wait for a price drop

Hail to the Chimp I liked the humor of the demo a lot. The gameplay, not so much. I didn't get to play all of the mini-games in the demo, though. If reviews are good I may be IN, but probably not.
Hellboy: Science of Evil Waiting for reviews, but hoping to be IN.
Supreme Commander Possible, but doubtful.

Battlefront: Bad Company is the only release this week that might interest me, but I've long since burned out on playing MP military shooters, and after COD4's single player campaign I doubt the SP in Bad Company is of high enough quality to warrant a purchase. I've been having enough trouble finding time to work through various SP games in my backlog. MP just hasn't interested me lately.

Battlefield: Bad Company will probably (it was a sure thing before I played MGS4) be my GOTY solely for the MP. I'm at about 27 hrs on the demo (which is just one map) and I cannot wait for it. The fams will be out of town this weekend so I'm planning on pulling a mini-Harkonis and bunkering myself in and playing it for hours and hours and hours.
