Welcome to the Weekly Release List, 6 hours earlier than normal. I had to post it now, as I'll be on the road during my usual posting time. Where to you might ask? Well, in short, my brother won a pair of tickets to Microsoft's Press Conference tomorrow morning (via a contest from Major Nelson), and it's a 6 hour drive from where we live. Watch the video feed that Microsoft will have tomorrow and keep an eye out for the lot of us. Enough of that - now onto the list: PS2:PS3:Fuel Red Faction: Guerrilla PSP:360:Fuel Red Faction: Guerrilla Wii:Go Play Circus Star Go Play Lumberjacks DS:Crazy Chicken: Atlantis Quest Crazy Chicken: Pharaoh's Treasure Crazy Chicken: Star Karts Emergency Disaster Rescue Squad Johnny Bravo Date-O-Rama Knights in the Nightmare PC:Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Terminator: Salvation The Sims 3 While Red Faction sounds like fun, I think I'll wait for user reviews before I snatch it up. Besides, I'm too busy playing InFamous as it is. What are you buying this week?

Waiting for some feedback on Knights in the Nightmare. I'm thinking it may be a bit too weird for me, but I'm interested in what other GT'ers think.

Nothing this time around. We did pick up a PS3 from Gamestop this week though.
Waiting until 6/9, 6/16, and 8/25 for our next picks.

Red Faction: Guerrilla and Fuel. Red Faction: Guerrilla because I liked the single player demo and it's been getting good reviews (90% per GameRankings). Fuel because I keep whining about wanting an open world racing gaming (Test Drive Unlimited came close to what I'm looking for) and now there is one. I'll take the bullet for the forum and dive into Fuel first to try get some impressions up early, while the rest of you enjoy your Red Faction: Guerrilla copies.
My only concern is that my games should be arriving the same day as The Sims 3 and I'm hoping the crowds won't be a pain.

Sims 3 and Fuel (360). Any racing game with Codemasters on the box is an instant purchase for me and I've never been disappointed yet.
I keep looking at Red Faction, but it keeps looking like yet another forgettable shooter.

Red Faction for the 360. Reviews have been very good.
Possibly Sims 3.
And probably Wolfenstein 3D (or is that next week?).

Thursday I believe. Don't know how excited I could get over a game that old and basic. Yeah, it has sixty levels, but who has the patience to play through all of them?

Now, monsters are reappearing in a world that had finally attained peace. The second moon has returned anew. What tidings does this ominous harbinger bring? Familiar faces and new allies join the battle to save the Blue Planet once more.

He must dig through caves to collect diamonds while avoiding various types of dangerous creatures and obstacles such as falling rocks. He is in constant danger of being crushed or trapped by an avalanche or killed by an underground explosion. Strategy and planning are the keys to mastering Boulder Dash. I keep looking at Red Faction, but it keeps looking like yet another forgettable shooter.
Just so you know, Fuel is only published by Codemasters, not developed by them. It was developed by Asobo, who don't exactly have a great track record.

UK=Sacred bloody 2!!!...although Star Ocean 4 is also out so i may get that instead, but then i would have to feel the Wrath of Myto(and the Atlantic Ocean between us is nothing when you feel the Wrath of Myto)
i'm looking forward to finally getting to grips with Sacred 2...its purely Forum based word of mouth as well,as Reviews everywhere havent been that kind...but there are only a few reviews i listen to nowadays
but yes,its now June....which is a little busy for me for video games

I have fond memories of playing Boulder Dash on the C-64, so I'll probably download it as well. LoZ: Majoras Mask last week and now these; things are definitely looking up again for the VC. Other than those the only other titles for me this week RF Guerilla, which I'll renting if I can find an outlet that still has it in.

I won't need any games this week, the replayability of Sacred 2 (and a pretty good-sized backlog) should keep me in good shape for a while, barring Forum Effect exceptions. Aw c'mon - the only folks who ever felt the supposed Wrath of Myto were the moronic kiddies who managed to pass our rigorous testing for admission to the best clan in FFXI ever. And they started it! That said, I do know where you live!

From reviews you guys have read, is multiplayer Red Faction something to get excited about, or is it pretty much the single player game where the meat is?

I played the multiplayer demo and really enjoyed it quite a bit. Judging by Ron's review, multiplayer could be considered excitement worthy. There are some cool unique things with the backpacks and destruction, and lots of unlocks to get as you go. I'm also really looking forward to trying the offline Wrecking Crew mode.
