Because I can, here's a comic I think everybody should take a look at. With that in mind, here's the release list: PS2:PS3:Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Crap PSP:Patapon 2 360:Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Arkanoid (XBLA) Space Invaders EXTREME! (XBLA) Zombie Wranglers (XBLA) Wii:Destiny of Zorro Klonoa Fantasy Aquarium World New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian The Destiny of Zorro Tower Toppler (C64 - VC) Penguins & Friends - Hey! That's My Fish! (WiiWare) DS:Imagine: Music Fest Jagged Alliance Magician's Quest: Mysterious TimesNight at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Puzzle Kingdoms Animal Crossing Calculator (DSiWare) Animal Crossing Clock (DSiWare) PC:Crysis: Maximum Edition Plants vs. Zombies Sherlock Holmes Chronicles Let me be the first to say that this looks like a whole lot of nothing. But what do you think? Are you buying anything this week?

Fileplanet has a demo for the PC version, and I would assume they're the same game. It's another game in the Puzzle Quest series, and even takes place in the same world. The puzzle/battle mechanic is great, but the overall game doesn't seem to have as much depth as the first PQ. There are some impressions of the PC version here.

I've played a couple of hours on the PC version and rather like it. I'll be picking it up on DS too. I'd agree it doesn't have the same depth as PQ as there are no classes, but it has a different feel from PQ which I am enjoying so far. I'm just hoping the DS version isn't totally jacked like Galactrix. We weren't able to reserve the game at the store, but I've requested some copies. Not sure when it is due in but I'll post brief impressions after I get it. I'm curious about Puzzle Kingdoms DS. Anyone know anything about it?

Also, I don't think Plants vs. Zombies will be out this week. I haven't heard anything about it being finished, and I would assume PopCap would release it at their site before a retail release.

In for Klonoa and Broken Steel.
Maybe Space Invaders. It was phenomenal on the DS. Does anyone know if anything's been added for the 360 release? Also maybe on Jungle Beat. On principal, I'm against paying $30 for what is essentially a patch. But this was a damn fun game, and I don't see digging out those bongo controllers any time soon.
I'm also curious about Jagged Alliance and Puzzle Kingdoms, though on the latter, I'll probably wait for a 360 release.
No word yet on Nintendo stuff yet. Hopefully I can post it soon, though.

Tell me about it. What steaming tripe. Whatever happened to Nintendo doing good things by releasing cool games onto their VC or anything?

It appears to be the original, the synopsis on gamestop refers to Metavira, the location of the first game. JA2 takes place in Arulco.

I'm going to check out Space Invaders EXTREME! I loved Space Invaders throughout my childhood, and one of my favorite all-time games was Space Invaders '91 for the Sega Genesis. I loved, loved, loved, loved that game and played the everloving hell out of it. Space Invaders Extreme could be another iteration that I can't get enough of. I'll check out the trial this week to see if it's worth a purchase.

The thinking is that we'll get MM in two weeks. Great, but IMO that's just 2 more weeks added to too many weeks already. I think Nintendo should just release big name titles like this the same week in the different regions. With Super Metroid and LoZ: Ocarina of Time they did the same thing with N.A. as the beneficiary, but that just caused frustration for EU gamers.

Sheesh, Jagged Alliance for the DS? I inherited my wife's DS but haven't gotten anything for it, although I was tempted by Chinatown Wars. If this Jagged Alliance is decent it might be what it takes to get me to fire it up. Gamestop shows shipping date as May 19th. Anywhere I can get it tomorrow?

With my mom popping back and forth between the hospital and a rehab unit - my DS is getting more attention than it has in a while. I'm still playing Shiren, I have Civ/Rev waiting, and the 360 version of Sacred 2 is pre-ordered, due May 12th-ish. So, nothing on that list even raises an eyebrow. C'mon Sacred 2!

If Space Invaders was your first video game. And if Space Invaders was also one of your favoritist games ever would the EXTREEEEEEEEMMMEEE version be worth a purchase? Do I even need to ask...
DO I EVEN NEED TO ASK?
Do I?
No seriously, I'm totally going with that and Wolverine. Definitely Wolverine.
