There was some other strategy game similar to JA released a week before JD:DS, it looked better, no idea if it played better. Sadly I'll have to dig up the title.
So, you give JA:DS a try, I'll try the previous game.

Looks like it's a Wii week for me.
IN: Boom Blox Bash Party Punch-Out!!
MAYBE: EA Sports Active Bionic Commando Jagged Alliance Puchi Puchi Virus
I'm waiting for reviews on all of these, although I could certainly use a new fitness "game" and hope that EA's offering is good (and has enough use of the board). I remember hearing something good about Puchi Puchi Virus, but I have no idea when or what it might have been.

More than likely in on JA:DS as well. Yeah I'd like to hear about this as well. I got myself warmed up for JA:DS by re-installing Jagged Alliance 2 on my PC. I had burned to DVD the as-installed game folder which I had updated with the current 1.12 and the fan built 1.13 patch, plus the Hi-Res mod. Locked up my computer on first try but worked fine after the reboot. Thank goodness I had burned it to DVD, I don't know that I would have had the energy to install the game from the original disk and then go through all the patching and tweaking.

Waiting on reviews of Bionic Commando
Not doing so good (Metacritic ratings here). 71/100 right now, with Game Informer (Gamestop's money making mag) giving it a 6.25 and 5.0.

Wii:
The YuGiOh title has me interested, but I think I'll get it on the wii. Might even be able to get my daughters interested in it.
Other than that, I'm still playing Sacred 2 and waiting to hear what JA DS is like.

Wii: Boom Blox Bash Party Punch-Out!!
DS: Jagged Alliance
No need to wait on Punch-Out!! The reviews have been very good. 89.67% on Gamerankings. Nothing below an 8.5.

I picked up UFC for the PS3 on Monday and may get Sacred for the 360 today or just wait for GF and get it then for $40bucks. I to seem to be heading for game overload more like the entire summer.

UFC - maybe. I liked the demo despite not following the sport.
Terminator - If the reviews aren't horrible, I'm getting this for splitscreen co-op mode. But I'm not buying this until I've seen the movie.

I'm very interested in hearing if the emulation for Majora's Mask has been improved.
I've put about 2 hours into it and so far it's been perfect. It's been quite some time since I dabbled with it back on the N64, but I'd go further to say there's subtle improvements in graphics and audio in this release. BTW Even after 2 hours I can comfortably say this is one excellent game; AAA quality all the way!

IGN added this comment to their review ( 9.5, BTW): Note: Since a few readers in the Comments box below have brought it up, you can rest assured that the emulation in this VC edition is glitch-free. The version of Majora's Mask made available on the Collector's Edition GameCube disc was plagued by some sound and transition issues that didn't destroy the play experience, but were certainly annoying to deal with. Well, they've been dealt with and dealt out of the deck -- VC Majora is perfectly presented, so download with confidence.

Yup, that confirms what I'm experiencing; no bugs, awesome presentation and that it works perfectly with a GameCube controller is a real bonus. Prior to starting this, I was playing through the original FF VII on my PS2. That's a very tough act to follow, but I have to say this game easily matches the others in overall quality. There might be concerns about contemporary Japanese Dev's having lost their creative edge, but in the 90's it was shining through with a blinding brilliance. I encourage any fans of LoZ games that are on the fence with this one to jump in.

Jagged Alliance DS now showing on the Gamestop page as shipping 5/26 . Probably no surprise there, reflecting the absolute lack of gaming web site buzz about it. Well, no worry, I've got a busy next few days and then Fuel arrives on Tuesday or Wednesday.
