Random thought - every console I list is a code name (GBA = Game Boy Advance), short of the Wii (and technically the 360). Strange, no?

Anyway, enough blabbering. What are you buying this week?

PS2:
Heatseeker
Legend of the Dragon
Spider-Man 3

PS3:
Spider-Man 3
Calling All Cars (PN)

PSP:
Legend of the Dragon
Ultimate Board Game Collection
Winx Club: Join the Club

360:
Spider-Man 3
Catan (LA)
Centipede (LA)
Millipede (LA)

Wii:
Heatseeker
Legend of the Dragon
Spider-Man 3
Castlevania (VC)
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja (VC)
Shockman (VC)

GBA:
Spider-Man 3

DS:
Shrek the Third
Spider-Man 3

PC:
Fairy Godmother Tycoon
Penumbra: Overture
Spider-Man 3
UFO: Extraterrestrials

I might pick up Spider-Man 3, but I have plenty of other titles to play for now.

I've got reviews for Shrek for the DS and GBA coming up on the 1st and for all versions of Spider-Man 3 on the 4th.  I'm busy as all get-out - no need to buy.

Without a doubt I'm picking up Spider-Man 3 for the Wii.  I'm sacrificing achievements and graphic quality for the ability to stand in the center of my living room and shoot webs from both my hands with the Wii remote and nunchuck!!!  thumbsup  I've watched videos of this and it looks incredible.  The closest I will ever come to actually being Spider-Man.  This is going to be so geeky cool!

Nothing. Wife quitting her job, Coop going to start being selective, not that there is anythnig this week that I would buy even if I weren't being selective, but you get the point.

I echo the SM3 thoughts, but if the Wii version is different enough from the 360 version, I may pick up both.  Different content-wise, not just controls.  I think I'll be getting Heatseeker for the Wii as well.

I am on the edge on Heatseeker, it seems to be getting slightly above average on reviews, but the videos look great and I am excited to try the game out.

Waiting on reviews for spidey 3 for the 360 and wii.  Probably picking up UFO if it's *really* coming out this time, it has been delayed a good 10 times I think.  Maybe Catan or Legend of the Mystical Ninja(don't remember this from my snes days...)  So a few possible, nothing definite though.

I saw a prison tycoon game at Best Buy. One of the features was "use a variety of weapons against rioting inmates!" I was pretty appalled by that.

I actually saw Prison Tychoon 2 at Circuit City.  Sad to think something like that warrants enough sales for a sequel.

me too.  Apparently they don't have enough execution options in the game if you have enough prisoners left over to riot  Tongue

Ditto.  The Wii controls look interesting, but could get old, and the graphics aren't so hot.  The 360 version has the prettier graphics, but who knows how much prettier?  The final straw is that the gameplay might wind up getting repititive like Spiderman 2's did.

I ended up taking a bunch of games and DVD's in (Gears, Double Agent, Zelda and a few others) in for trade and got Wii Play (needed an extra remote so I figured why not spend 10 bucks more for the game itself) and Godfather: Blackhand Edition plus I put the remaining credit towards Spiderman 3.

Waiting to get feedback on Spiderman 3.  If it holds up I'll get it.  other than that nothing

Thinking of getting UFO as well.  Some of the early buzz is positive.  Might go for the d2d version from Matrix
