As somebody else mentioned, they missed these posts, so off I go doing it again. So...what are you buying this week?

PS2
Beatmania Bundle

Kao The Kangaroo Round 2
NBA Ballers: Phenom
Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires

PSP
Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code
Kao Challengers

Xbox
Far Cry: Instincts Evolution
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
NBA Ballers: Phenom

Xbox360
Far Cry: Instincts Predator
Rumble Roses XX
Top Spin 2
Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires

DS

Top Spin 2

Cube
Harvest Moon: Magic Melody
Kao The Kangaroo Round 2

GBA

With the fact that I am consumed with Oblivion and the fact that I probably have to declare bankruptcy due to my game spending in March, nothing.

The updated version of Far Cry, Probably DOA4, and maybe even Top Spin 2.

I haven't decided on Top Spin yet though.

Goodbye GameCube, hello Kingdom Hearts 2.

The only way I could afford it, honestly.

Definitely picking up Kingdom Hearts 2.  Might pick up Rumble Roses for the 360 if it gets favorable reviews.

If I can find the money... for the 360 I will be getting Top Spin 2, Far Cry and DW 5.  Of course I am consumed by Oblivion so these would sit on the back burner most likely, so may wait for price drop on them.

Far Cry, DW5 (probably), and maybe Top Spin 2 for the 360, but last I heard TS2 isn't coming together great.  Untold Legends for the PSP.  And, sadly, I'm interested in the $20 fishing game for the DS, but my brain is screaming at me that it will suck.

DW5 for the 360... only because it's co-op and I already pre-ordered it.  Otherwise Ghost recon and oblivion continue to occupy far more than their share of my time.

no kidding...Burnout, GRAW, and Oblivion are still keeping me occupied and set me back a nice little chunk of change already this month.  i'd like to pick up Far Cry for the 360, but i really can't justify buying a fourth game this month...especially when i haven't even scratched the surface of Oblivion...

Top Spin 2 would be fun.  Need to wait on reviews and also hear about the online implementation before picking it up.

I'll be getting Top Spin 2  for 360definitely... I may cave and go for Rumble Roses at some point as well, but more likely used on that one.

DW5 for sure, I miss me some Chinese combat, yo.

Plus, it's on the cheap. (40US). biggrin

I may get Rumble Roses XX if it gets favorable reviews; or maybe trade Perfect Dark 0 for it. ::shrug:: I've got to get through GRAW, Oblivion (five times) and Amped 3.

:: sigh :: I don't even have time to play any of those, nevermind playing some Black & White 2.

Don't quote me, but I think I recall seeing some sort of ad perhaps for Best Buy stating that when you buy KH2 you can get Chains of Memories (or whatever that GBA game is called) for $9.99 or something.

If that interests you, you'll have to definately double-check to see if that's right or not.

A quick note on Top Spin 2 - looks like it might be coming out April 3rd now.  Though, not entirely sure of the release date.

This quote was taken from a March 22 preview of Top Spin 2 from IGN

Quote
We played the game and didn't notice much difference between the way this build felt against the one we have in our office. In other words, the game seems far from done.

Absolutely nothing.

In the past 4-5 months I have picked up:

Civilization IV
Galactic Civilizations II
Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Star Wars Empire at War
Fight Night 3
Space Rangers
The Movies
GUN

And I have barely spent more than a half hour with any of these!

I guess I'm in a rut.

Color me ignorant, but is Far Cry for the 360 the same as the PC version?  I'm currently playing through it on my PC and don't want to buy it and play it all over again.  Thanks.

Nope. Far Cry for the 360 contains two games, neither of which share any content with the PC version. The first game is a port of the Xbox Far Cry Instincts game that came out last fall. It's a straight port, but with its graphics compeltely reworked for the 360. The second game has a completely new single-player campaign. It also has multi-player modes and includes a map editor.

I thought Instincts on the Xbox was in many ways a better game than the original PC title.

PS2 - Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires
Xbox - Far Cry: Instincts Predator

Hopefully a 360 along with PGR3 and GRAW.

stiffler, you might as well get the DW5:Empires for the 360 instead of the PS2... at least you can chat with others while killing Meng Huo yet AGAIN. slywink

Kingdom Hearts II and Untold Legends II.
Maybe Dynasty Warriors or Farcry for the 360 if either of them gets great reviews.

Does it include XL and the original?  I think it includes the original at least, but not sure about the XL stuff.  I'll go read about it and let you know.  If so I'll probably get the 360 one and then the PS2 one on the cheap just to keep the collection alive.

edit:

Okay, DW5: Empires is just Empires, like the standalone copy of DW4: Empires.  Apparently Koei release DW5: Special in Japan which combines DW5 and DW5: XL.  Hell, I might get it for the 360 anyway since it retails for only $39.99.  Plus it looks way sharper than the PS2 version.  I like the Empires stuff, but it's definately a different feel than the original/XL stuff.  A nice addition, but hopefully more refined than 4:E was.

Looks like I'll get them both after all!  The question is which I will get first and which to wait a while for...

Damn, juggling all these versions must sound confusing to the rest of you! biggrin

After I get Empires I will have 10 DW titles plus the 2 Dynasty Tactics games.  Throw in 3 Kessens and we've got a party.  Hey Koei, how about you invite Nobunaga to the BBQ?  No, Genghis Khan?  Bastards.

Probably Top Spin 2 if the reviews are decent.  I need a casual game that can be played with 4 players.

After getting GRAW and finding that the 4 player mode was unplayable, I'm now left with 4 460 controllers and no games that can really use them.

I'm also getting Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers since I liked the changes in the demo and the new multiplayer modes really intrigue me.  Now it's just a matter of whether I should get it for Xbox 1 or the PC.

Far Cry and Dynasty Warriors for the 360 for sure.

Maybe Kingdom Hearts 2, but Oblivion may be all the RPG I can handle for quite awhile.

Top Spin 2 and Rumble Roses, probabily not....unless they get stellar reviews.

Wouldn't count on it.  It's a straight port, done by a single project engineer as a labor of love.  Apparently the publisher wanted to straight-out pull the plug on it.
