Isn't Wheelman coming this week for 360 & PS3?
I'll be giving that a look along with Wanted, but I'll probably wait until they come down in price.
I hear Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is fun, so I may get that for the Wii. Especially if I can play with my daughter.

Giving serious thought to Legends of Wrestlemania. The demo was fun and I need something that's not a serious shooter for a change. Probably give it a rental first...as a purchase would make it the first wrestling game I've purchased since Pro Wrestling on the NES (one of the greatest games ever made).

Wow, there's a whole lot of nothing on that list. My daughter will probably ask for Monsters Vs. Aliens but so many of those licensed games are such garbage that it's just not worth it.

VC: Bomberman '94 (PC Engine) Detana!! Twinbee (PC Engine) Wiiware: Pop Them, Drop Them SameGame The Wiiware game got an 8/10 from WiiWareWorld. They said: Pop Them, Drop Them SameGame is quite an attractive package on the whole. The game oozes with the usual Hudson quality and the asking price is not going to break the bank. For those who are struggling with spare space on the Wii, it will come as good news to hear the game fits into a tiny 46 blocks. SameGame is deceptively simple and one of the most incredibly addictive puzzle games ever. Hudson has done an excellent job of bringing the classic game up to date for WiiWare. Solo players might tire of the gameplay after a short while, but for multiplayer it is a very attractive proposition. Hudson’s track record of delivering quality WiiWare games is upheld once again with this fun bargain puzzler.

Yes, yes it is. Stupid sources not showing everything when I want them to. You missed 1 release for the PC, Battleforge
Weird - one source said yes, EBGames said no, but now when I search for it on EBGames, it's sitting there. Grr.

Is their tag-line, "Silent Must Die," an Engrish typo or is there a character named Silent? Also, Nintendo Power gave it a 4/10.

I'm quite meh about this weeks VC releases. I bought Bomberman 93 when it 1st came out and although I've enjoyed it it didn't exactly blown me away, so my interest level in Bomberman 94 isn't too high. No one I know seems to have played Detana!! Twinbee. I've read that it's a cute platformer and a decent game, but between my current VC and gametap games I think I've got category covered well enough. This week marks a 1st for me and something unexpected. I hadn't had any requests from my son or daughter for Pokemon Platinum, but they told me yesterday that they're going to trade in their copies of Diamond and Pearl and buy Platinum with their own allowance. I guess they've heard my "you can't always have every single game you want" speech enough and didn't want to chance it. The funny thing is, I would have gladly bought it for them because I know they'll get heaps of enjoyment and quality gameplay out of it. The downside is that the game will truly be there's and me sneaking some gameplay probably won't go over too well. I can only hope that it'll be quite challenging and my daughter will require some assistance. Anyhow...the money I'm saving by not buying 2 Pokemon games will likely be used for any of the Final Fantasy games or Broken Sword games, but I'll be waiting for reviews and imp's.

Officers jumped out at me, so I went looking for details. WWII strategy by a Russian developer where you play the U.S. Army taking on the Germans... Even the Russians don't want to play the Eastern Front. One of the big selling points for the game is set to be the 25km x 25km maps, which have resulted in rounds that can take hours to complete. There'll be no fog of war in the game, but your map will be restricted in terms of enemy intelligence, meaning that they could be just around the corner and you won't know it. You'll be able to command airborne units, jeeps, tanks, ambulances, and greyhounds, while on the German side you'll see tanks such as the Mach I, II, III, and IV.

I may be in for that one, as UNO has probably received the most playtime of any XBLA game from me.

First Demon's Souls and now this. "Silent" is a proper noun in the game. It is a type of mind worm that has burrowed into the human psyche. So, no Engrish here.

Even though it was released a few weeks ago, I finally got around to purchasing Peggle (purchased it and placed it in queue via xbox.com while easing back into work following my vacation). I hope to get some gaming in tonight, either with Peggle or perhaps I'll take the plastic wrap off of something "new" (Fable 2, Far Cry 2, or perhaps Mirror's Edge).

Also, Nintendo Power gave it a 4/10.
They criticize it for not having enough "gameplay". I'm hoping for another Time Hollow-like experience, especially since they said it looks and sounds great. That game got lousy reviews too, but I loved every minute of it. For that type of game great story is what I want. Why do people that don't understand adventure games insist on reviewing them?

I am but I'm also just as skeptical and require more reviews before I pull the trigger. I did pick up the Henry Hatsworth game though based on positive feedback here and GWJ... of course I haven't had time to open it yet.
