On XBLA this week:

Watchmen: The End is Nigh (a whopping 1600 Quatloos)

Ah, I had no idea - I thought this was a retail release.

That's Microsoft's stellar XBLA publicity machine for you.  It's amazing that they actually manage to sell these games.

I've seen big promos for it in EGM and on X-Play so maybe I just assumed it was a retail release. They did too good a job of publicizing it.

I'd love to buy Empire: Total War, but when I tried the demo, the load times on my aging PC were insane.  The game ran fine, but 5min. to load a battle that I'm probably going to lose, not cool.

Interesting. I'll have to see if Total War runs on my machine. And I'll try to rent Halo Wars at some point, but I doubt I will ever purchase it.

Littlest Pet Shop: Spring

Not that I will be getting it since I have no kids nor DS, but I believe someone responsible for this is a member on OO. Butterknife I believe is the name.

Continuing my trend of buying any game with the words "Total War" on the package on release day, I will be picking up Empires.  I'm going with the retail as it registers on Steam anyway, and I want the manual in hard copy for this one.   Tongue

So if we buy the retail copy, can you download it through Steam in future when you want to reinstall?  I was just going to go with the Steam version, but I'd like a hard copy of the manual as well.

I'm verrrry close to picking up MLB 2K9 for the Wii.  If I had a PS3, it would be The Show all the way, but I might take a gamble on 2K9.

What's the matter with that? I'm pretty sure that's why people around here keep buying Rock Band games.

By the way, thanks bunches, and make sure y'all keep that up.   thumbsup

It's time to come clean.

No one like Rock Band.

Or anything Behtesda cranks out.

I, for one, am tired of supporting you jackass losers just because you exist virtually in some glorified AOL chat room I use.

I would assume so; it's how it worked for other games.
