Odd - my auto-complete function for Firefox isn't working. Normally I type in two letters into the subject line and there's every single 'what are you buying' thread for the last 6 months or so. Anyway, here's the list:
PS2: King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Major League Baseball 2k9 MLB 09: The Show Tomb Raider Underworld
PS3: Major League Baseball 2k9 MLB 09: The Show SBK: Superbike World Championship Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.
PSP: MLB 09: The Show Phantasy Star Portable SBK Superbike World Championship
360: Halo Wars Major League Baseball 2k9 SBK: Superbike World Championship Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.
Wii: Major League Baseball 2k9 Grey's Anatomy Six Flags Fun Park Sonic and the Black Knight We Ski and Snowboard Yamaha Supercross
DS: Grey's Anatomy Littlest Pet Shop: Spring MLB 2k9 Fantasy All Stars Spongebob vs the Big One: Beach Party Cook - Off
PC: Empire: Total War Grey's Anatomy Major League Baseball 2k9 Shellshock 2: Blood Trails
Hey, look, another Sonic game. I wonder if it'll suck just as much as the last 4 Sonic titles have before it. I thought Sega was going to slow down releases for Sonic games, in order to not 'dilute' the brand too much...
Anyway, this week is a whole ton of nothing for me. But I know there are some sports fans in the audience, so I have to ask - What are you buying this week?

Nothing, as usual, lol! I'm still (re-) playing Morrowind, and enjoying the fact that I only played the expansion packs once, vs. playing the original game 5-6 times. It feels like a whole new game whenever I wander into the Bloodmoon or Tribunal areas! That said, I loved P-Star "Online" on the Cube - single player... so that PSP version looks like I need to research it - though it would be a "What are you buying this week" - in a month or more, if the research deems it a Must Buy Someday.

PS3: MLB 09: The Show Yes, please. It may wait a little while as I've caught a liitle bug called Drakensang, but after that The Show is a must have. I'm curious what the Grey's Anatomy game is, as my wife could be interested if it isn't total shovelware... and it would be neat to see the Wii turned on.

The Show for PS3 and Empire. Hopefully I can finish up Persona 3 soon so I can play either/both of those.

360: Halo Wars - Even though I just picked up two C&C games, I will probably be IN Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. - I'm still tempted, but I'm definitely waiting for reviews
Wii: Sonic and the Black Knight - OUT unless I hear this is the one We Ski and Snowboard - The first one was pretty cool...I'll be IN if I can find it cheap

Ogre Battle sounds interesting. I've only ever played Ogre Tactics 64 and none of the classics crew at work seems to have played this one in the series. My understanding is that this is a RTS and not a TBS like Shining Force. Has anyone here played this and if so would you recommend it? Halo Wars is a likely purchase for me this week. I liked the demo and it seemed like a RTS that actually works on the 360. Not to mention I like the games universe and back story.

I want Empire Total War but it doesn't make sense to pick it up at fullprice with my current schedule. I'll probably pick it up when it hits the $25-30 range.

Ogre Battle may be in the docket for me too. Though I should probably just stay out of the WiiWare/VC store, since what I don't know about won't cost me money.

I'm actually interested in that pending reviews and impressions on how good it is as an offline game. Not something I'll be snagging in the short term, but maybe a few months down the road.

Continuing my trend of buying any game with the words "Total War" on the package on release day, I will be picking up Empires. I'm going with the retail as it registers on Steam anyway, and I want the manual in hard copy for this one.

I know nothing about this game, but I'm tempted to buy it simply because it's named after two obscure Queen songs.
