The reviews for CC have been excellent.  Condemned 2 has already seen some decent ones, too, in the UK.  House of the Dead will be just guilty fun.

FF:  CC is a definite, and I'll wait for reviews on Wild Arms XF.  I'm not a big fan of the WA setting, so I'll need to see if the gameplay is solid.  Also not sure if I have the time for yet another SRPG.

Condemned 2 on the 360 will be an eventual purchase if I ever get around to finishing the first one, but other than that I picked up Bully and SSB for the Wii last week so I'm good for now.

I really liked the first Condemned but I think I will wait for reviews.  I don't usually play games like this but it was one of the few titles available around 360 launch so I ended up trying it.

Ugh, awhile ago I'd be super excited for Pro Evo.  But Konami has absolutely ruined the franchise the past couple of years, and reports from our brethren across the pond is that 2008 is god-awful.  And apparently online play is plagued with an indecent amount of lag.  That makes me a sad panda.

I may give Wild ARMs XF a shot, since I'm ready for an awesome SRPG and the vibe at NeoGAF is quite positive.

Piccolo is a village in the country of Fantasia. One day, they hear from the fairy Alis that songs and music have disappeared from the forest. Suddenly, the wizard Amon appears, grabs Alis and vanishes with her. The brave Milon must now go on a journey to rescue his kidnapped friend, with his bubble shooter as his only weapon. Along the way, he'll need to retrieve five legendary instruments and stars by defeating Amon's minions. Get ready to enjoy the fun and comical action of this charming game.

Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 900 Wii Points): The object of this head-to-head puzzle game is to clear your grid of falling patterns called puyos by forming chains of four or more same-colored puyos in a straight line or one of several geometric patterns. What makes this a challenging two-player contest is the fact that when you clear a chain of puyos from your grid, it drops a random piece of filler onto your opponent's grid. The more puyos you clear, the more you fill your opponent's grid, and if you can clutter up his grid enough to fill it to the top, you've won the game. An intriguing backstory makes this an amusing experience for one or two players.

I think it's coming 3CST. I'll probably look into review for FF:CC, but if it looks semi good I'll give in. Pretty interested in house of the dead pack. Loved those arcade games. but that'll probably wait. gonna pick up SSMB.

Nada for me. A couple maybe from gamefly eventually. I think I'm good until Rainbow 6 next week. I may pick up Folklore and/or Jericho for the PS3 if my local Target reduces their clearance price.

I've changed my mind about PES after reading reviews and impressions.  This is the first time I won't buy a new PES game.  Sounds like they pulled a FIFA 07 (360).

I'm not sure what to believe now.

True, and if you actually read the reviews it becomes pretty apparent that there are no new/good features in 08.  The higher scores are mostly because PES is already such a great game to start with.

It was previously import only.  It's a platformer and supposedly very good.
