Hadoken! Shoryuken! Tatsumaki-Senpu kyaku! If you have no idea what the words I just typed mean, then you need to turn in your fighting-game badge and call it a day.
PS2: Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year
PS3: Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year Street Fighter IV
PSP: Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?
360: Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned Race Pro Street Fighter IV
Wii: Battle Rage Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year Sing It: High School Musical 3 Life Force (VC) Evasive Space (WiiWare)
DS: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
PC: Dawn of War 2 Drakensang: The Dark Eye Penumbra Collection
If you can guess that I'm grabbing SF4 (360 version) this week, then YOU WIN! Perfect! Beyond that, I do think some RPG goodness with DQ5 is in order, although Star Ocean is out next week...
What are you buying this week?

I've been looking forward to Dawn of War II, and I think the campaign mode might appeal to me in a way that the one in the original game didn't. Normally I'd be planning on the Fire Emblem game too, but since I just recently picked up Star Ocean: First Departure for the PSP, I'm going to be trying that out first. -Autistic Angel

Street Fighter IV!
Dragon Quest is high on the want list but I think it'll have to wait until I finish several books I'm working on during my commute.

I'm looking forward to The Lost and Damned this week, if only to revisit the radio stations in Liberty City (with their new music!).

I need these:
DS: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
I need to finish DQIV first. If I hear good things about Fire Emblem I'll drop DQ in a heartbeat though (I love FE).

Street Fighter IV (360) for me! Maybe even one of the special gamepads to go with it. I'm a patriot who has to do his part to stimulate the economy.

I'm hoping to get SF IV from Gamefly, but the word I heard last night that there's no real MP lobbies will be a deal breaker if true. Drakensang may be an eventual once I put some more time into the demo.

VC:
Life Force (NES) - shmup
Wiiware:
Evasive Space - a mazey shmup?
For me:
360: Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned - IN Race Pro - I'll get it in the bargain bins, probably Street Fighter IV - IN, though I still feel like I shouldn't be
Wii: Battle Rage - Never heard of this fighting robots game...it'll probably suck, though
DS: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride - IN Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - Possibly IN, but I know I get psyched for these types of games and only play about a quarter of it
PC: Penumbra Collection - IN
I thought there was more this week...

IN the 'maybe' column: SF4 (360) Prinny, Can I really be the hero? (PSP) DW5 (DS) GTA 4 DLC (360)
Defientely: Dow2 (PC)- Until Starcraft 2 comes out, Relic remains the reigning champ of RTS

VC:
Life Force (NES) - shmup
Wiiware:
Evasive Space - a mazey shmup? Damn that's a lot of shmup'ing for the Wii this week. Despite never owning a NES, or any 8 bit console for that matter, I remember watching Life Force being played at a friends and being very impressed. I've been told it had some of the best 2 player co-op in any schmup from it's era. For $5 I'm IN! Fire Emblem is a possibility depending upon reviews. Otherwise I'll be getting one of the DS RPG's; not sure if that's going to be DQV or one of the other already released AAA RPG's I haven't played yet.

nothing as my wallet is pretty well scraped clean, but i am interested in getting dq5 down the road and the gta dlc after my system gets back. with sf4 out, this marks the death of the cod5 group i think, so i will be sending that one back now too.

Dragon Quest V! Drakensang is a maybe as well.
This week's XBLA release is Death Tank, a Scorched Earth/Worms style game that, for some reason, costs 1200 points.

Many things I want, but nothing I'm buying, unfortunately. I just picked up a used 120GB hard drive for my 360 from Gamestop for $80 and a copy of Loco Roco 2, plus I'm playing through Persona 3, which will take a little bit of time (to put it lightly), so I really don't have time for anything else.

For those getting DQ5, Square Enix moved the release up a day, so it will be in stores Tuesday. They did the same with Star Ocean, so it will be in stores next Tuesday

DQ5, maybe Fire Emblem. Street Fighter 4 is a maybe for me, I was a huge fan of the original but frankly the game footage I saw looked completely unimpressive. Well that's not quite accurate, it just looked like slightly prettier graphics (and only slightly) than what I remember from the past. Even the herky jerkiness seemed like it was artificially added in to make it more like the original. So what's special about SF4?

If the videos you're watching are herky jerky they're probably not running as many frames per second as the game. Even the HD videos on youtube cut frames. Try watching the videos here to get a better sense of how it really looks in motion.
