Not exactly a stuffed week unlike last week. With that said, two titles that I know people have been looking for come out this week, so some of you must be excited to hear about them. I for one will be grabbing Star Trek Online as soon as my local Gamestop opens up Tuesday.

What are you buying this week?

KIND of interested in White Knight Chronicles...

I think FFXIII is going to satisfy my attempt at one RPG/year, but if the reviews/impressions of this "re-tooled" version of the game are solid, maybe maybe.

RPGmania 2010 continues for me with White Knight Chronicles.

The XBLA release for this week is the music/puzzle/charity game Chime for 400 points.

What makes you guys so excited about this game?  I'm getting it since I'm a JRPG fan and there is very little choice on the PS3 but I'm not really sure what makes WKC special.

I don't have a PS3 and thus will not be getting WKC, but The Grue explained to me what makes WKC special.

They have an online mode where you can build your own town and other players can come into your town to buy and sell items.  You can hire NPCs from your Story mode to come and live in your town, which will affect the materials and items available in it for purchase.  up to 12 people can be in your town at once.

On top of this, up to 5 players (yourself and 4 others) can complete multiplayer quests called 'sub-quests', which will award you with items you can take back and use in story mode.  They've also added voice chat for this mode.

Yeah, Dark Cloud 2 almost single-handedly sold me a PlayStation 2 after I saw it at a friend's house, and I loved Rogue Galaxy as well.  I've been waiting for White Knight Chronicles for a long time now.
