Another week, another release list. Huzzah!
PS2:
PS3:
PSP: Bomberman Land Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
360:
Wii: Bomberman Land
DS: Bomberman Land Touch! 2
PC: King's Bounty: The Legend Pacific Storm: Allies The Sims: Castaway Stories
I am happy to report that absolutely nothing interests me this week. So it's time to ask the all-important question:
What are you buying this week?

Nothing for me. Though my wife gets Endless Ocean for her birthday this week.
1080 Snowboarding is the lone VC title today.

Rock Band is:
"Siva" -Smashing Pumpkins "Working Man" -Rush "Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial)" -Coheed & Cambria
Siva's the only one that's not a cover, so I might get that one.
Kind of tempted by Rez, but I don't think I'm $10 tempted. Too bad that wasn't the free game for the Live troubles.

That means that everybody would've been happy with their free game for their troubles, and thus Microsoft would be out on all the money that people would've spent on actually buying Rez instead. Duh.

Definately down for the Rock Band content.
Also really tempted by Rez HD, but I'm going to play the demo to see what changes it offers over the PS2 version of Rez. A complete port with better quality sound and graphics is good, but I'm not willing to part with $10 for it.

Chessmaster Live (800 MS Points)
That's tempting. Chess is one of my favorite TBS games and the one game that I have completed more times than any other!

Almost for sure Rez, possibly Chessmaster.
I really, really enjoyed Bomberman Land for the DS, so I've been looking forward to the Wii version. If the DS version isn't just the same game compacted, I'll probably get that, too, but down the road. I do hope some reviews hit before I just buy it, though. It was a careful balance of gameplay in the last one, they may not be able to pull it off again.

Wasn't King's Bounty already remade into the successful Heroes of Might and Magic series?

Turns out Turok may be out this week (Friday) for both the 360 and PS3. I'm on the fence here. I was hoping for a good Turok game, finally, but the demo left me a little cold. Of course, I played a very early demo, so anything could happen.

PC: King's Bounty: The Legend I really doubt it comes out this week, last time I checked it was supposed to be released in March. But if it did, I'd buy it. [edit] BTW, this game was created by the same people who developed Space Rangers 2 and that's saying a lot in my book. Plus I always loved King's Bounty.

Nothing this week, but I received Persona 3 at the end of last week from a purchase, so that's my new game this week. And seriously? Only one VC release on the Wii this week?

Wasn't King's Bounty already remade into the successful Heroes of Might and Magic series? yeah, it was. I liked Kings Bounty but couldn't stand Heroes. I guess my tastes in games changed between the 2 releases.

well, i got burnout paradise last week, burnout revenge in a gt sale this week, and the witcher in the mail. i should fire up undertow and see if getting it for free really makes it better.
rez is a strong possibility and the rock band stuff is too. otherwise it's a thin week.

Maybe Rez after the demo. The DLC for Rock Band doesn't jump out at me this week (though it would if they weren't covers).
If I buy any full-sized games, it'll be BioShock, Mass Effect and/or No More Heroes.

It's no fair! I was actually making progress into the holiday releases, as opposed to just letting them fall into the backlog. Then my 360 died and shipping troubles ensued. I should be getting it back just in time for the pre-spring releases to come out, and the backlog starts again! Plus, I have eight weeks of Rock Band DLC to download, plus Rez! (I can't wait to convince my GF to try the vibration feature with me. ) The gaming gods really hate me. They've driven me to re-sub to WoW, which really only makes the situation worse.

1080 may be ancient but it was a blast to play and a damn good game to boot. I'll be downloading this as soon as I'm back from my biz trip so my kids will get a chance to experience it.
