What gaming related goodies (games, consoles, Steam codes, whatever) did you get for Christmas this year?

No one in my family every buys me gaming related items.

In fairness, though, I tend to buy them for myself before they would have a chance.  My wife was upset that I got a Wii U this year, for example, as she was thinking about getting one for me (not my kid, interestingly enough).  Here's the problem, though: I had to actively work to find a Wii U this year.  I'm not convinced she would have found one.  And I have no doubt in my mind that she would have brought home a white one.

My GF bought me a Wii one year... I had purchased several (either for resale, or because I wanted to help out friends incl. GT folks) and she claimed one saying one of her friends wanted one.  (I didn't mark up prices, ironically I took the wii's as an afterthought since the PS3 presale orders were all sold out).

I could have doubled the money and paid for one for myself, but instead I let one go to a friend, and another to my GF's "friend" ...

Biggest. Surprise. Ever.

Sadly, the system is the least used in the house, right after the PS3.

Right after my wife (of 20+ years) and I started dating, she gave me a Sega console for Christmas. That was when I realized that she loved and accepted the gamer in me.  Sniff.
