Twas the week before Christmas, and to everyone's amazement, not a game was releasing, not even a...okay, I have no idea what rhymes with amazement. So onto the list:

PS3:
Back to the Future Episode One (PSN)

PSP:

360:
A World of Keflings (XBLA)

Wii:
Mario Party 2 (VC - Nintendo 64)
Frobot (WiiWare)
Inkub (WiiWare)

DS:
Cosmo Fighters (DSiWare)
Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp (DSiWare)
Just SING! Christmas Vol. 2 (DSiWare)
Paul’s Monster Adventure (DSiWare)

PC:
Back to the Future Episode One

You thought I was joking, eh? Nope. As far as I can tell, there is nothing launching this week. Go figure.

So...what are you getting for Christmas this week?

A World of Keflings is out on XBLA this week, and I'll be getting that.  You're supposed to be able to buy ilomilo and Raskulls within AWoK, so I guess they're kind of out this week too.  I'm getting a bunch of games for Christmas (both from myself and others) plus I'll probably be getting way too much from the Steam and XBLA sales.  I'm hoping Lufia 1 and/or 2 make it to Virtual Console this week too.

Back to the Future episode One is released this week.

I will trial the game, but waiting for the 360 version, this weeks SentUAMessage on Inside Xbox had a comment from Telltales games when someone asked if it was coming to the 360..they(Telltale) said that if there is enough interest for the game to go to 360 they would love to bring it...obviously a stupid f**king answer, because i think everyone knows it would probably sell more on the 360,if it was released simultaneously ...SUAM said to send a tweet to telltale games to say you want it on the 360....so i did icon_biggrin

AFAIK, TellTale won't release episodic games on the 360 until the entire season is ready since Microsoft won't allow them to sell the entire season at once before all the episodes are released. Sony on the other hand has been very forthcoming with allowing this kind of release system on the PS3.

Phonetically, basement comes close to the mark. I'd post what I am going to buy, but likely it will be steam sale related, or replacing my dead 360.

A few games from the Steam sale. Since I finally got my XBLA promo pts, possibly one of theses XBL Arcade games from the Dec 21-31 sale.

Super Meat Boy Discounted Price: 800 Savings: 33%
Comic Jumper Discounted Price: 800 Savings: 33%
Toy Soldiers Discounted Price: 800 Savings: 33%
Banjo Tooie Discounted Price: 600 Savings: 50%
Castle Crashers Discounted Price: 600 Savings: 50%
The UnderGarden Discounted Price: 400 Savings: 50%
Risk Factions Discounted Price: 400 Savings: 50%
Afterburner Climax Discounted Price: 400 Savings: 50%
Borderland's Claptrap New Revolution Discounted Price: 400 Savings: 50%
Carcassonne Discounted Price: 400 Savings: 50%

I'm thinking Banjo Tooie at 600 pts sounds like a great deal. I already own Banjo Kazooie, so I'm wondering if Rare ever made the locked content available?

Bad Company 2 for $6.95?  Got it.  I've been wanting to pick that up for the 360 when the price dropped a little more (currently $39.99), but for $6 on the PC?!  That's too good to pass up.

I'm looking forward to seeing what today's steam deals will be.

The damage has been minimal so far, but I'm sure it will continue:

-  Prince of Persia (the new cell-shaded one)
-  POP:  The Two Thrones
-  The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom
-  Burnout Ultimate

That's quite a lot of gaming for $13.

I'm thinking Banjo Tooie at 600 pts sounds like a great deal. I already own Banjo Kazooie, so I'm wondering if Rare ever made the locked content available?

Yup, if you have Banjo 1 & 2 on XBLA it is fully Stop & Swop enabled. That reminds me I need to go back and finish Tooie (or restart it). And also finish the after-credits boss on Banjo Kazooie that I failed so many times  crybaby

I'm still trying to finish the before credits boss!  That rooftop battle with Gruntilda is a pain.

too many to list but I've added 39 games to my Steam library so far via packs and otherwise.  luckily it looks like there are no real releases that I'm planning on getting until at least the end of January.
