Random thought of the moment: It's really damn cold right now in the Northeast. Too bad there's no snow to go with it.
PS2: Iridium Runners
PS3: Burnout Paradise
PSP: Rainbow Islands Evolution
360: Burnout Paradise
Wii: Endless Ocean No More Heroes One Piece: Unlimited Adventure
DS: Advanced Wars: Days of Ruin Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
PC: Pacific Storm: Allies Pirates of the Burning Sea
Quite a few games this week. As for me, I may or may not be picking up Advanced Wars: Days of Ruin and No More Heroes. Depends on if I want to push my backlog back any further or not.
What are you buying this week?

I have Advance Wars and Burnout (360) reserved. And best part is that Burnout hits on Tuesday and I have the following 2 days off, yay!

Well, I had decided to hold off on Burnout until that Bettenhausen fiend on 1up convinced me that, as I had hoped, there was a shit-ton more of the game than the demo indicated. Sooo...off I go to get Burnout tomorrow. 360 for life playa (I have no idea why I said that, it just appeared funny. Screw you guys, I am at work).

I was no fan of that demo. Burnout is a rental now for me, at best. The only game I'm really looking forward to in the next couple months is Culdcept Saga, so nothing for me.

Burnout perhaps... I just picked up Pirates of the Burning Sea (pre-boarding for the win) and have been playing the heck out of it... not sure I really have time for another game.

Burnout : I'm not entirely sure why exactly, as I never turn on my 360 anymore it seems. But I loved driving around in the demo, so getting the full game should be even better. Plus I hear there is co-op stuff to do, which could potentially draw me away from my PC.

Amazon orders for Advance Wars, No More Heroes, and Endless Ocean.
I'm still undecided about Burnout, but fortunately, I don't have a 360 at the moment anyway, so I can wait for impressions on it. I'm leaning toward a purchase, because it's Burnout, and I have a wheel anyway, but since I didn't even get to try the demo before the 360 died, I'm waiting.

I want to try and love the new Burnout, but with all the new changes it will have to be a rental or wait for a big price drop I think.
I did just order Zack and Wiki from Amazon since it dropped to $32 there.

I'll rent Burnout eventually. I didn't really like the demo that much, but loved all of the previous games in the series.
Advance Wars is an eventual buy. Just not this week.

I will pick up the Advanced Wars sequel as soon as the local snowfall will allow it. Namely the road conditions and morons I live around.

Looks like I will be getting Burnout, since it looks like the GT crew will be on board for it. The multilayer may be a good change from COD4.

Oasis song pack for Rock Band. Might get Burnout, though I wasn't fond of the demo. Not sure if I like the "drive around and find intersections that start events" mechanic. I've also been a huge fan of the crash events in previous iterations... I hear this one has none?

I've recently gone back to that game a bit more. It's really fun. I like how it's structured as stand-alone, bite-sized puzzles. It's easy to come back to even if you don't touch it for a month or two, which is something that cannot be said for most games. I'm on the fence about No More Heroes, Advance Wars, and <GASP, SOB> Burnout. I'm a huge Burnout whore but I play that game like an obsessive compulsive with tourette's syndrome until I achieve 100% Gold medal perfection. I tried the demo for Burnout: Paradise and while it's still plenty fun, I just have no enthusiasm for it. I don't know. Actually, I don't have much enthusiasm for buying new games for the time being. I still need more time to finish off some holiday titles like Bioshock and Assassin's Creed and Mario and Mass Effect. The last thing I need is more games.

Endless Oceans is pre-ordered, looks nice a nice relaxing game.
Advanced Wars after I hear some reviews. Didn't like Dual Strike much, but supposedly this one is much better, so I am hoping.

No More Heroes has already received some stellar reviews, so yes.
Endless Ocean has been decently received, too, and I am in the mood for relaxing exploration (plus my 4 year old might like it).
Advance Wars is something I always buy and rarely play enough, but I'll be hopping in again.
I'm interested in Pirates, too, but not sure if it'll work on my laptop. Is there a fee?
I may also be getting Furu Furu Park, which was supposed to come last week.
The Burnout Paradise demo (and developer) made me angry, but the reviews have been quite good. I just have a feeling I'll be looking for things to piss me off if I buy it. And I still don't get how "a new race on every corner" is going to hold out after you've been playing for a long time. It's going to eventually be in the same situation as the demo, hunting for the couple of corners with new races.

Is that multi platform? I saw it listed at the local game store yesterday but it didn't have a platform listed next to the title.

No More Heroes has already received some stellar reviews, so yes.
I hadn't come accross any reviews for it until I stumbled on the one at CVG (Computer Video & Games). I haven't read a review on that site in many, many moons so I'm not sure of the reliability. That being said I noted these comments in the review that you rarely see in any reviews on any site for any game. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=177850You've already showed your friends Super Mario Galaxy. It gave you the same feeling as when you saw Ridge Racer on the PSOne, or Super Mario 64 on N64, or Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast - games that you could stick on your telly and say "look - this is a brilliant, brilliant game." Well, No More Heroes is another game like that; something that will awe people.
Anywhere else and No More Heroes would still be hatstand chicken-punching bonkers, but nowhere else would it be so entirely at home than on the console with the crazy split-in-two controller and the arm-flapping games. Like the Wii, none of it should work, but like the Wii, everything does. Brilliantly. I'm IN, just hope I can find a copy tomorrow. [Edit] Nobody listed the VC releases for this week and they're 2 very nice additions: Super Street Fighter II (SNES) The Adventures of Lolo 2 (NES)
