I'm jumping the gun because there are some handheld games I'm keen on, and wanted to remind myself as my feeble memory fades.  PSP-Nov. 6 * SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical StrikeEarly reviews are a bit mixed (Not a SWAT: Target Liberty-style turkey by any means, though there seem to be some friendly-AI and camera viewing issues), but it seems like an interesting step in a more strategy-oriented direction for the series. DS-Nov. 6 * Panzer Tactics DSHex-based wargame/strategy on DS. But is it just Advance Wars with old-school hexagon grids, or does it have some real wargame meat to it? Hope to find out soon. *Following Week Reminder: One day too late to make the "what are you buying" cut, Warhammer 40K: Squad Command is due out on both handhelds Nov. 12.  |
