The month of November is upon us, a month stuffed to the gills with titles everybody wants to play. Don't believe me? Here's the list:
PS2: Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am Cabela's Big Game Hunter
PS3: Bladestorm: Hundred Years War Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
PSP: Chessmaster Silent Hill: Origins SOCOM US Navy Seals Tactical Strike The Simpsons Game World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets
360: Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War Cabela's Big Game Hunter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare F.E.A.R. Files LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Scene-It
Wii: Bee Movie Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Mario and Sonic: Olympic Games My Word Coach Alien Soldier (VC) Power Golf (VC) Super Mario Bros. 3 (VC)
DS: Bratz: 4 Real Build A Bear Workshop Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker Enchanted Go Diego Go: Safari Adventure Hannah Montana: Music Jam Horse Life Hot Wheels Beat That LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga My French Coach My Spanish Coach My Word Coach Ontamarama Panzer Tactics Puzzle de Harvest Moon Shrek the 3rd: Ogres and Donkeys World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets
PC: Blackbeard's Revenge Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Democracy Empire Earth III F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate Gears of War Ghost in the Sheet Hot Wheels: Beat That Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance The Lost Crown The Office The Sims 2: Teen Style Stuff Viva Pinata Zoo Vet Endangered Animals
As for me, I'm interested in buying Call of Duty 4, along with the new Dragon Quest Monsters title, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. As for what I'm buying, I'm not quite sure. Too many games that are absolutely must buys next week and beyond... However, Alien Soldier is a MUST buy for the VC for me. It's an amazing and quite difficult side scroller from the masters at Treasure.
What are you buying this week?

And your VC games of the week are:
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points): Remember when no one had ever heard of a Tanooki Suit or knew that Bowser™ had a clan of Koopalings? The game that made these things common knowledge is also considered by many to be one of the best ever made. Bowser and the Koopalings are causing chaos yet again, but this time they're going beyond the Mushroom Kingdom into the seven worlds that neighbor it. Now Mario and Luigi™ must battle new enemies, returning favorites and a new Koopaling in each unique and distinctive world on their way to ultimately taking on Bowser himself. Luckily for the brothers, they have more power-ups available than ever before. Fly above the action using the Super Leaf, swim faster by donning the Frog Suit or defeat enemies using the Hammer Bros. Suit. Use the brand-new overworld map to take the chance to play a minigame in hopes of gaining extra lives or to find a Toad's House where you can pick up additional items. All this (and more) combines into one of gaming's most well-known and beloved titles—are you ready to experience gaming bliss?
Alien Soldier (Sega Genesis, 1 player, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older –Fantasy Violence, 900 Wii Points): As Epsilon-Eagle, you are an alien soldier who has been genetically engineered to produce maximum intelligence and strength. You were once a member of the criminal organization Scarlet, but when you decided to break from the group, you were forced into a showdown with Scarlet's new leader Xi-Tiger, who kills a hostage in his attempt to destroy you. Now it's up to you to take revenge against the bad guys in this side-scrolling action game! Choose from six different weapons and battle the bosses of Scarlet until you reach the final confrontation with the ultimate secret weapon!
Power Golf (TurboGrafx16, 1-3 players, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points): Power Golf sports a perfect combination of simple-yet-realistic controls and beautiful graphics. Swing away on 18 lush holes in one of three different game modes: the single-player STROKE PLAY mode and the multiplayer MATCH PLAY and COMPETITION modes. Enter tournaments as one of three different characters—beginner, intermediate and advanced. Wind strength and the slope of the green add extra challenges to each hole. Compete against other players in the standard NORMAL MATCH or ante up one of your clubs in the unique CLUB MATCH. Up to three players can play in COMPETITION mode, and a handicap feature is included to help novice players pull off breathtaking shots just like their advanced rivals.
Alien Soldier RULES!! Buy it NOW!! And so does SMB 3, but we've never seen Alien Soldier on these shores before.

COD4 and Panzer Tactics (apparently for the third straight week, Destructor ) Edit: And with Mass Effect prepaid and Rockband on preorder, this pretty much brings about the end of my gaming funding for 2007. I have my eye on Assassin's Creed (very skeptical) and Kane and Lynch (very Skeptical) that I could pull the trigger on, but the 2 above are the last one's I'm really looking forward to that I haven't paidf or yet.

Well, I'm interested in buying:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Mario and Sonic: Olympic Games Super Mario Bros. 3 (VC) Panzer Tactics
But realistically, my money is only going to: The Rock Band and Mass Effect Savings Fund

The only game I am interested in is Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn but I don't have a Wii so this is a bye week instead of a buy week for me.

I'd be interested in Viva Pinata for the PC if it includes the ability to change the speed of the game. I can imagine that the mouse interface would greatly help, too.
I might pick up Call of Duty 4 for the 360, but I want to try a single player demo first.

360: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - even though I'm one of the few who wishes they'd stuck with WWII F.E.A.R. Files - not this week, but probably when it comes down to around $30 LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga - maybe. Does anyone know if I have to play through the original trilogy again, or will it magically pick up from where I left off? Apart from the tweaks to the prequels, what's really been added to this to make it worth playing through again? Scene-It - I love Scene It, and the demo was interesting, but I don't know if I want 4 big ass controllers cluttering up my house that I'll get to use maybe twice.
Wii: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - I'm a little disappointed to hear it's a Gamecube game. I'd like better graphics and the ability to use the wiimote as a pointer. I'll probably still get it, but I may wait. Mario and Sonic: Olympic Games - I' ve been hearing good things about this, surprisingly. Still waiting on reviews, though. My Word Coach - Anyone have any idea about this? Or the French and Spanish ones for the DS? Super Mario Bros. 3 (VC) - I think I may be done with VC games until they come up with a way to let me play from a memory card.
DS: Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker - not sure what the deal is with this one Ontamarama - even less sure what the deal is with this one Panzer Tactics - this one I know the deal. IN.
So, the only two for sure are COD4, despite grumblings, and Panzer Tactics, though I always think I'll give strategy titles more time than I eventually do. I'm going to be itching for Fire Emblem, and trying to wait on getting it, which'll lead me to Panzer Tactics, I'm sure.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii and Call of Duty 4 on the PS3, unless reviews say the 360 version is significantly better.

Alien Soldier RULES!! Buy it NOW!! And so does SMB 3, but we've never seen Alien Soldier on these shores before.
Although it's true Alien Soldier never got a N.A. release for the Genesis, the game has actually been available on Gametap for quite some time. I liked it but I didn't think it was on the same quality level of some of Treasure's other great games, i.e. Gunstar Heroes. I do remember that the graphics were very nice. . I didn't have any plans to buy any VC games for a while, but I'm not sure I can pass on Super Mario Bros 3. I remember when we did the survey in this forum a while back for the best Mario game ever, SMB3 was many peoples choice. Fire Emblem: Radian Dawn is a possibility, but I'll be waiting for reviews. Call of Duty 4 also interests me, but I have COD2 on it's way and I currently have my 360 shooter hands full with RB6:Vegas. It's looking more and more like I won't be buying anything until Super Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect arrive in a few weeks.

I think everyone else here played it to death on the 360. either that, or there's just so many new games coming out that it's lost in the avalanche.

I've decided to rent CoD4 I have a feeling its going to be like every other shooter GRAW, RB6, BF:MC ect. I can hold off for a month or two or get it for half price on GF With Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Kaine & lynch and Sim City Societies coming out with in the next two weeks, I can wait on this. Ace Combat and Orange Box is taking up to much of my time as it is.

My gaming budget for the year is pretty much used up, with Guitar Hero 3 and two copies of Hellgate: London (one for me, one for my GF) purchased. I'm cautiously interested in Dragon Quest Monsters for the DS, but am waiting for reviews to make sure the game is deep enough to be worthwhile. If it is, I might get it in December. But no new rpg purchases until I finish either Blue Dragon or Etrian Odyssey, so it'll likely be 2008 before I get DQM (again, if it's good enough).

Back in my day, if I wanted to play something like Alien Soldier, I'd have to import the game from across the pond and then drag out my Genesis just to play it. Now get off my lawn!

And I'm iffy on Panzer Tactics DS.
I may jump on Gears of War for the PC too, but probably not until it's on sale.

I've fired it up a couple of times in recent weeks just as a change of pace from Company of Heroes. I still really enjoy it, I just never could get good enough to be competitive in multiplayer and everyone that seemed to enjoy play co-op against the AI with me dropped the game or just moved on to something else in what seemed like a span of a couple of weeks I still like it and the way the expansion supposedly speeds up the initial parts of the game should help keep interest a little more. Though I kind of like it in it's current state too. The relaxed pace at the start is different from most of the other RTS games I like and it makes for a little less stressful game, at least for the first ten or fifteen minutes.
