I've been waiting all year and saving the last of my EB trade credit for Dragon Quest VIII. On Friday I found out that my coworkers took up a collection to give me a going-away gift in the form of an EB gift card, so I may very well splurge and get both DQ VIII and Wild Arms. The original is my favorite console RPG ever, so why not? Sure, the price may come down in a few months and sure, job hunting will keep me from doing justice to even one game, much less two, but why the hell not?

Dragon Quest 8 and Magna Carta are already preordered (though I won't open Magna Carta unless impressions are very positive).
Is Tomb Raider: Legends really coming on the PSP this week?

Dragon Quest 8 for sure. I'll probably pick one other game up, either Wild ARMs or Magna Carta.

Mario Kart DS and possibly the Tony Hawk for the DS as well (depends on the money situation). I would love to get Sonic DS, too, but there is no way in hell I can afford three games if I am struggling to afford two.

Getting Quest 8 for sure. Watching Magna Carta, Wild ARMs, Legend of Heroes, and now apparently Kingdom of Paradise.
Also, too many RPGs, damn it.

Dragon Quest 8, Legend of Heroes and Smackdown vs RAW 2006 for me! Wait... Legend of Heroes is due out this week too? *looks up* Fuck. That makes FOUR RPGs due out this week. Good lord. Talk about RPG overkill.

Mario Kart. I even went looking for it today and can't find it anywhere.
I'd like DQ8 but unless it's a co-op game with my kids (helloo X-men Legends!) I'm finding most of my console gaming takes place on the DS.

Mario Kart. I even went looking for it today and can't find it anywhere. Oddly enough, when I visited my local Gamestop on Friday, they had a bunch of Mario Kart DS boxes behind the counter. I thought they were wrapped and whatnot, and as such would be purchasable, but who knows.

I will be dropping by a EB to see if Mario Kart is available. IGN gave it a 9.5 by the way, so even accounting for their inflation index, it should be a solid 8.5 game.

What am I buying new - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING- still!!! Yeah, still working on the 360 - "paid it off" from Savings... but I want to keep it "Savings"... not "Spendings"... so I'm selling games, etc. on eBay to re-pay the Savings Account. Trying to ignore everything else non-360!!! It is very difficult! Qbe: "I've been waiting all year and saving the last of my EB trade credit for Dragon Quest VIII. I know you've been waiting for that like I've been waiting for Oblivion! And you not only deserve it - but you probably need it with all you're trying to accomplish at once! Yikes!
