*sigh*  Having played Umbrella Chronicles I can say, enjoy the crap implementation of the 'zapper' functions.  Even the Capcom guy at E3 said they were having a far more difficult time than they anticipated getting any level of accuracy in the thing.   Expect low scores folks...

Actually, Game Rankings just gave RE:UC an 8.3, though they did say the zapper was more of a hinderence than a help.  Still, they really liked it, saying, "A superb entry in the genre with a ton of great missions and reasons to play again and again. Anyone that enjoys the macabre, or going nose-to-nose with zombies should check it out. Fans will absolutely love it as it's basically a love letter from Capcom to them. "

They probably made the controls crap, to make it feel like a resident evil game.

That's amazing!  I was just walking past my local EB, and they were putting up a new display that included the blurb:

"Having played Umbrella Chronicles, I can say, enjoy the...implementation of the 'zapper' functions!  Even the Capcom guy at E3 said they...anticipated getting [this] level of accuracy in the thing!  Expect...folks!" -- Ron Burke, GamingTrend.com

I thought the zapper sounded stupid from the moment they announced it. The best thing about the Wii controller is the fact that your hands can rest relaxed and apart. Now they want me to put both hands on this lame gun shell? No thanks.

I'm not that interested in RE:UC since it's just an on rails shooter. I wish they would make a Wii exclusive Resident Evil 4: Part 2 or something, since I don't want a shoddy Wii port of RE5.

probably Assassin's Creed on the 360 for me...don't need to spend the money, but i'm starting to lean away from jumping on Rock Band right away, so it's a little more affordable...

I am starting a list for games that I want once I finish stuff that I now have. I refuse to buy anything not preorder as of two months ago, which only Leave Mario Galaxy. So I will finish off a bunch of titles, and then start buying off the list.

If I could I would definitely get RE: US and Tomb Raider Anniversary, Assassins Creed, and Geometry Wars. Next week holds more.

This is my christmas week as a gamer.  Incredible!  I love it.  So many great (hopefully) games.  One of the very few weeks where I will be purchasing multiple games for one day.

PC
Crysis - Most wanted.  This looks like it was worth the wait.

Wii
Mario Galaxy - I'm really looking forward in playing this after reading the reviews.  I was going to wait and give it to my kids for Christmas.
Geometry Wars: Galaxies - Everyone on this board seemed to really like Geometry on the 360.  Those comments sold me on this one for the wii.

DS
Orcs and Elves - I love RPGs on the DS
Contra 4

Crysis

Passing on Assassin's Creed due to the word-of-mouth so far.  The Simpsons game is still calling my name and where the f**k is Mass Effect?!
