it would end up being a choice between viva pinata and rainbow 6.. we all know how that decision is going to end up!

plus, in Viva Pinata, I wouldn't be able to drop a grenade down your pants!

I, for one, will not be playing Vegas with CK here. I don't mind the teamkiling; the fact that he's so comfortable putting his hands into currently occupied team members pants has me worried. Tongue

CoD3 and GoW are both preordered.  I'll also be snagging Contra.  What a great week!

Gears of War for sure... Tony Hawk most likely.  CoD3 later on down the line when I can afford it and when I hear how the multiplayer is.

Despite my dedication to FFXII, I must get GH2.

FFV is tempting too, but it goes onto the wish list.

edited to add : Also must get...GoW.

Gears most definitely.

Call of Duty 3 is a big big maybe.  If nothing else, I will rent it, beat it, and then buy it when it price drops.  Sooo tired of WW2 multi, so, only the SP has appeal.

That should be it.  The rest are rents some day.

Gears of War and that is it...Even though CoD3 is calling me nod.

BTW, when is everyone able to pickup their GoW from EB/Gamestop? Mine says Wednesday/maybe Tuesday, even though they always get big releases early, this doesn`t look like they are very confident mad.

Gears of War for me...no way i'll be missing the biggest 360 game yet on release day

and just to put the Gears demand in a little bit of perspective, i counted roughly 47 different posters in this thread...33 of us are planning to pick up Gears this week.  i have a feeling MS might just have a hit on their hands...

Well, the freaky Aeris from Gamestop didn't call me today, so I'm guessing Wednesday.

My list...

Will definitely buy ASAP:

Call of Duty 3
Gears of War
Viva Piρata

Will buy if money/time/permits
Contra

Will buy if reviews are good:
Blitz The League

I'm interested in Blitz because I want a good football game for my system that's not an EA game.  Blitz sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I want a gangsta football game.

I'm buying CoD3 for the multiplayer, specifically the 4 player split screen MP that they said was in.  This'll give something for my friends and I to play when they come over.  I also like the new mp mode they added, since the CoD series has been calling out for a more complex gametype since the series was created.

Gears of War is my showcase game I can use to show off to friends without a 360.  I'm also buying it for the co-op and multiplayer.

Viva Pinata is both for my little sister and myself, since I get tired of purely violent or action video games and need to relax sometimes.  Plus I can play this with my little sister, so even better.
