Fallout 3:CE (PC) C&C: Red Alert 3 (PC)
Maybe Star Ocean (PSP) And since I didn't know that Penny Arcade Vol 2 was due out, I'll probably grab that too.

Wow, I'm actually tempted to grab the CE Fallout 3 strat guide (via Amazon), even though I never get them. Gotta love having a 2.6 pound, 500 page weapon handy. And apparently C&C:RA3 is coming out at the wrong time - I've seen exactly one person say they're getting it over the swarm of Fallout 3 posts.

Kathode's 401k grows larger as I'm in for Fallout3 CE Lunchbox for the PC. I didn't get the express shipping from Amazon so no telling when it will land, no problem though as I'm just into chapter 3 of Dead Space (absolutely need a game pad to play this on the PC) and I've got a game of Witcher enhanced edition also going. I love having a new PC that can run this stuff.

I'm really liking the trend of the latest collection releases on the PS2 like Onimusha: The Essentials. The other day when I went to pickup Fable II it took all my will to restrain myself from buying the Mortal Kombat Kollection. Especially since I can't play Shaolin Monks for Xbox anymore due to no BC. I mean 3 of the best games in either of those series is helluva deal for $30.

Fallout 3 at some point. Probably when I am done with Fable II. Not buying this, which is also out this week.

Damn, looks like I'm the only one springing for Fallout 3(PC) here, apparently! Along with Red Alert 3(PC) and Littlebig Planet(PS3). The most expensive gaming week for me in this mayhem of releases.

The good word of mouth has me wanting Fable 2 and Little Big Planet. Fallout 3 to follow as well.
I'm still working on last weeks game purchases though, so I can hold out and maybe make a Christmas wishlist out of this.

Fallout 3. Undecided on it's platform though. I was going to go PC, but I just got a sparkly new Onkyo amp and big ol' honkin' soul-crushing speaker system for my consoles, so I might go PS3 instead. But the PC version can use my 4870 video card and it'll have mods! what to do?! P.S. looking forward to feedback on that 500 pg hardcover FO3 guide. bear in mind, that MOD support isnt a given yet... Kathode said as much in some Fallout3 impressions thread around here somewhere

Does anyone know what the price point is for the Penny Arcade game? I somewhat enjoyed the first one, but $20 is pretty steep for a game you can finish in an afternoon.
Just noticed on the PA site that the price has been dropped to $15 for the new episode, with the 1st episode price lowered to $15 to match. Gabe also said he felt the game turned out a lot stronger than the first episode, but you know, it is his game and everything so take it for what it's worth.

I planned to buy FO3 at Christmas.
CC is doing a 10$ giftcard so I'm back in for the regular edition.
My head spins.
Oh and I'm in for the uber strat guide at amazon- especially since it has dropped to $20.00
I thought that the CC deal included the strat guide...

I thought that the CC deal included the strat guide... CC gives you a mini strat guide with the game...just a little pamphlet with very basic info that isn't much help. the mini guide does have a coupon for 25% off the real guide on the back though. i picked up the game using a $10 gift card i got with Dead Space, got my new $10 gift card, then used that to go back and pick up the guide with 25% off. in the end, i walked out of CC with Fallout 3 (360) and the massive strategy guide for just under $60...not a bad deal

Ditto. Already picked up Fallout 3. Red Alert 3 is already preordered. Just waiting to pick it up. I do have to go out to the movies though (silly woman ) so I won't be able to play it till Thursday or Friday.

Fallout 3 - 360
Ditto... and nice pumpkin, Jance! I will not open FO3 until I finish Fable 2, but I will likely pick it up this weekend, or order it online this week. The online idea would work best, no temptation - until it arrives, anyway.
