It's the first week of October and releases are starting to pile on in anticipation of the Christmas season. Yes - it's less than 3 months until Christmas. That said, what are you buying this week?

PS2:
FIFA 07
NHL 2K7
NRA Gun Club
Pro Stroke Golf: World Tour 2007
SnoCross 2: Featuring Blair Morgan
Star Trek: Encounters

PSP:
FIFA 07
Gangs of London
Mercury Meltdown
Stacked
Star Trek: Tactical Assault

Xbox:
FIFA 07

360:

Cube:
FIFA 07

DS:
FIFA 07
Star Trek: Tactical Assault

GBA:
FIFA 07

PC:
Desperate Housewives: The Game
Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue
Face Factory 2
FIFA 07
Fish Tycoon
Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave
Neverend
Pirate Poppers
Plantasia
Poker Pop
Space Empires V

Thankfully, for my wallet, there's little that I'm looking forward to short of maybe Star Trek: Tactical Assault. I've been buying way too many games lately, and I don't have the time (as usual) to play the ones I have.

Not a thing.  Which is good since next week brings Devil Summoner, Contact, and Tales of the Abyss.

Probably Just Cause from last week.  Other than that... nothing.  The star trek games that are out are not on the systems I'm going to buy them for (psp and 360).

Getting Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 from last week which I never got around to getting, which is good since it is on sale at Circuit City for 23.99.

If ST:TA for the DS gets decent reviews, I might pick that up.  Otherwise, nothing for a while.

Saving, saving.

I do have FFXII and NWN2 pre-ordered for the 31st, though, so at this point, the plan is to hold off on anything else.

I want to finish up a few more before I buy anything new. I am definately going to trade in more games going forward.

I am interested in ST:TA but I want to see reviews first - for the DS version.  It could be a very deep tactical game which could be really cool if they are creative with the controls, but I want to have others test the water first.

The DS version is coming on the 24th.

I'm more interested in that one, too, but I'll wait and see which gets better reviews.

You forgot Scarface, which goes on sale on Thursday (at EB/GS..this may be before other stores, not sure). I don't think Tactical Assault is due out this week.

Nothing for me this week.

Star Trek : Encounters is a PS2 action shooter, unrelated to the other Star Trek games.  Neverend looks interesting, but I'll wait for reviews and a price drop.

A Friday seems unlikely.  The 24th is Gamestop & EB's ship date, so it'll probably show up on the 25th, barring delays.

Damn nothing for the 360 this week?

I was hoping to buy crackdown but apparently it's been pushed back to next year now.

Only game on that list that slightly interests me is Gangs of London (PSP) but I'm going to wait for some impressions first.
