pre-order at gamestop placed.  they informed me that they're having a midnight sale, but i'm just too dang old for that foolishness.  i did it for GTA IV and Starcraft II and regretted it the next morning.   icon_cry

Batman, although not for a couple days.  Inexplicably, Amazon.com isn't offering release day shipping on this one.
They didn't when I put in my order last week, but then I checked yesterday, it was available, and I was able to upgrade my shipping option on my order.

edit: Just checked and it's still listed, so I don't think it's too late to upgrade your order.

Thanks, it wasn't listed when I checked.  Either way is fine.  I've got souls to farm smile

Who needs the real Batman when you can buy this instead?

(yes, this is a real product - but obviously not released in the US)

Renegade Ops on Steam!  Finally!  smile

I'll probably wait to get Batman on PC, since I'm getting a new video card very soon anyway.

I caved and double-dipped.  I just bought a video card and got Batman for free but not really sure if anything else is included except for the game so I pre-ordered at GS since it seemed you got the most value.

Arkham City

I'm also strongly considering Rocksmith if the reviews are positive.  I've been learning guitar for a couple years now, and it looks like a fun way to work on my technique and learn a few songs...if it works as well as advertised...

Yep, doing the same here. Checking my Redbox when I get off work today.

I think I may start going that route with games that are short (12 hours or less...of which there are a surprising number the last few years).  Games like AC that promise 40 or more hours (according to some reviewers when factoring in side missions and challenges) I'll still pick up.

Batman has finally arrived. They wouldn't leave it at my apartment w/o someone to sign on Tuesday. So I called UPS and told them
I would pick it up Wednesday at the depot. I showed up after work to find they'd attempted another delivery 15 minutes before. So I called customer care and fussed at them to reroute it to my work.

At 2 pm, they delivered it ... Leaving it under my mat at my apartment without a signature, the same thing they'd refused to do the past two days.

You forgot Payday - The Heist (PS3) on the list..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc752Yc0NAA

I loved Kane & Lynch 2 and this sounds like more of it.. have been so busy with work lately I haven't had a chance for any gaming but this is #1 on my list right now.

Anyone try it yet?
