E3 has come and gone so it's all back to normal as far as gaming does...at least until the end of the year.

PS3:

PSV:
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
Jak and Daxter Collection

360:

WiiU:
New Super Luigi U (eShop)

3DS:

PC:
Knights of Pen & Paper: +1 Edition
Magrunner: Dark Pulse

What are you buying this week?

I'm intrigued by the Knights of Pen & Paper +1 but man I've spent too much money on gaming lately.

I heard Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is coming this week for everything non-handheld, basically.  It looks pretty cool.

Also Game & Wario is supposedly coming to Wii U.  I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that and New Super Luigi U.

Lots and lots of diapers.

Pro tip: take a nice cold baby wipe and run it down their legs then wait 10-15 seconds before you open a diaper up.

The Year of Luigi is hitting its stride now with Super Luigi U, a DLC pack for New Super Mario Bros U.  Personally,  I wish they would do this with all of their titles.  I would love to see Luigi Hunter 3 Ultimate, Game & Waluigi and ZombieLuigiU.

Lots of other releases today, so lets get to the list.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Wii U
New Super Luigi U from Nintendo, $19.99
Game and Wario from Nintendo, $39.99 (available 6/23)
SALE Little Inferno - $4.99 until 12pm EST on June 26

Wii U Virtual Console
Mario Bros. from Nintendo, $4.99
Wrecking Crew from Nintendo, $4.99

3DS
Project X Zone from Namco Bandai and Monolith Software, $34.99 (available 6/25)
LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey from WB Games and TT Games, $29.99 (available 6/25)
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games from Sega, $39.99
Bugs vs Tanks! from Level 5, $7.99
Farming Simulator 3D from Focus Home Interactive and Giants Software, $9.99
SALE Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo - $3.99 until 12pm EST on July 8

3DS Virtual Console
Mega Man 6 from Nintendo, $4.99
Sonic Blast from Sega, $3.99
Tails Adventure from Sega, $4.99
Defenders of Oasis from Sega, $3.99

DSiWare
Rhythm Core Alpha 2 from SoftEgg, $9.99

Club Nintendo members should note that Nintendo is offering a way to earn Double Coins for downloading and registering the DLC by August 1.

I would love to see ZombieLuigiU.

Would Luigi be the zombies or the protagonist?  Either way I think I would have to buy that.  icon_lol

I know there are only about three people here with a WiiU but does anyone have impressions on LuigiU yet?

I just finished downloading it.  Haven't tried to play yet.

EDIT: I've played the first level and part of the second.  Bottom line - harder and faster.  The world map is the same, but the levels seem to be truncated and rearranged.  When you start a level, the 99 second warning music plays, so that's a pretty decent indicator.  I was able to get through the first level just fine, but I don't even want to count how many goes I had to get all three big coins (I don't anticipate getting through and getting all the big coins on a level in one pass).  And the next level was harder.

HOLY CRAP NEW SUPER LUIGI U.

I'm reviewing it for the site, and this was my planned first paragraph for it:

Quote
Did you think New Super Mario Bros U was too easy? Well fuck you, because Nintendo is about to bend you over and tear you a new one with New Super Luigi U.

I think this might be a bit too much though. I'll likely tone it down for the actual review. biggrin

But yeah, it's the same map as NSMBU, but each of the levels have been remixed to be more difficult. OH. And EVERY SINGLE LEVEL has a 100 second timer. Also, Luigi controls like he did in SMB2 -- that is, super floaty and he slides like an ice skater.

I'm half way through world 2 and this game is kicking my ass. I'm loving every minute of it though. If this is the way Nintendo plans on doing DLC, then, by all means, keep doing this.

Yeah, that line might be a bit much for the site, but it sums it up pretty perfectly.  Not sure I'll put a lot of time into it, though.

Hmm, thatís actually a bit disappointing for me.  Iíll probably wait and see if it goes on sale at some point.  Nintendo has been pretty good about putting out sales with games on the WiiU.
