On the 15th day of June 2014, The gaming God rests.  Well, not quite, but he is taking this week quite lightly.  Here's what's on the schedule.

PS4
EA Sports UFC

XB1
EA Sports UFC

PS3
Battle Princess of Arcadias
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
MotoGP 14

360

WiiU
Pushmo World - eShop

Vita
Magical Beat

3DS

PC
MotoGP 14

I for one could use the break.  Steam summer sale is coming.

Pushmo World looks good, but I still haven't finished the first game or Crashmo on 3DS.  It doesn't look like they're doing the discount for owning Pushmo, so I'll probably wait on that.  Battle Princess of Arcadia is a maybe based on price.

Pushmo World isn't a port, though.  It's a new game.

Are you referring to the discount?  In Europe, they're offering 30% off Pushmo World if you own either of the 3DS games.  It doesn't look like they're offering the discount in the US.

Ah.  Hadn't heard about that.  Probably in their best interests that I hadn't.

Pushmo World is a good bet.  Honestly though I'm a little concerned, the Pushmo series of 3DS was one of the few games where I thought the 3D was actually really helpful.  The extra depth and made it MUCH easier to tell where blocks were in relation to their surroundings.  Hopefully I'm not going to miss that too much on the WiiU.

I wondered about this, too, but in the end decided that the 3Dedness only helped figure out depth to a marginal degree.  Nothing that I couldn't extrapolate from the 2D image.

If the Steam sale does start Thursday, and they have a lot of my wish list on there, I may be buying lots of stuff. None of it recent releases though.

Nothing this week. Which is good - I should be finishing up Watch Dogs this week and able to dive into my backlog of Wolfenstein, Child of Light, and Van Helsing II.

Pushmo and Another World 20th anniversary on WiiU for me.

I was hoping that How to Survive would be tweaked for its WiiU release but it doesn't appear that is the case.

Also hopeful that some of the announced Capcom VC titles hit starting this week.

Honestly I am just waiting for Shovel Knight next week among other indie games
