Time to announce the next generation this week over at E3. But what's that you say? You still want to play games on this generation's worth of consoles? Well, that's a good thing, as plenty of games are coming out. Like this:

PS3:
The Last of Us

PSV:

360:
Zeno Clash II (XBLA)

WiiU:

3DS:
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Mighty Switch Force 2

PC:
Dark

What are you buying this week?

*maybe* The Last of US, since I hear that it has the same type of gameplay as State of Decay and if thats true, it would be awesome!

Just a heads up that Last of Us comes out of Friday instead of the usual earlier-in-the-week days (seems like everything has been coming out on Tuesday lately, except for the random Nintendo Sunday release).

For me, Last of Us and Animal Crossing, not in that order.

Read it again, Tom said it gives you the same emotional feedback as SoD not the same gameplay, a bit like horror movies can scare you even though one is about sharks and another about a dead person invading your dreams.

Well, the above was written BEFORE I saw the reply from Tom, damn you! And I'll ask you to kindly leave my bacon out of this ;-)

Still - I *am* intrigued by The Last of Us!

I enjoyed Zeno Clash on the PC, so I'll at least download the Zeno Clash II 360 trial and then buy it if its decent.

A sequel to a fantastic game, a Wii U deluxe version of another, a number of Sega VC games and, um, fishing.  Plus the long awaited Picross e finally arrives on American digital shores (well, long awaited by some of us, anyway).

Spoiler for Nintendo Weekly Download:
Wii U
Mutant Mudds Deluxe from Renegade Kid, $9.99

3DS
Mighty Switch Force 2 from Wayforward Technologies, $5.99
Big Bass Arcade: No Limit from Big John Games, $6.99
Picross e from Jupiter Corporation, $5.99

3DS Virtual Console
Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega, $4.99
Columns from Sega, $3.99
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine from Sega, $2.99
Shining Force: Sword of Hajya from Sega, $3.99

ITs really insane that the Wii U landscape is  still barren.

And will be for the foreseeable future.

But I have to hand it to Nintendo, even with the drought on games and the dipping sales, they are still delaying games to get them right.
