Van Helsing 2 is the only definite for me. I really enjoyed the first one.

Transistor is high on the "maybe" list. I really liked Bastion but really haven't read anything about Transistor so I need to do some more research and wait for reviews.

I'd love to play Wolfenstein but it's not worth $60 to me, even if it does get decent reviews.

I imagine I'll go with Transistor, though Bastion didn't completely get me (I liked it okay, but never felt the compassion that most did).

I'm hoping the new Wolfenstein will be good (not expecting great), but the review embargo until release day has me concerned.

Eyeing Transistor, but I've got too much on my plate to make it an instabuy.  May be swayed by the forum effect.

I'll be keeping an eye on reviews for Wolfenstein, and if they're good, I might get it for the PS4. The game has received positive word of mouth so far, and the fact that it has no multiplayer but instead focuses on a long singleplayer campaign (15-20 hours) with different ways of completing missions, is promising.

Going to get Transistor unless it gets trashed in reviews.  Curious about Wolf, but not immediately

Curious about Wolfenstein and Van Helsing 2, but just watching reviews and waiting for price drops.

I played Wolfenstein at multiple conventions.

The gameplay wasn't good, although I can honestly say that it just needed some tuning of numbers to make it good. It had problems with deciding what kind of shooter it wanted to be. Essentially it had the bullet sponge, hyper accurate enemies of older shooters, an older style health and armor system, but way too much damage from enemies swarms of enemies with levels and setups that were closer to CoD where you can just duck behind a rock and wait to heal. All that, and they expect you to run and gun like old Id games, it just didn't work.

It's just frustrating rather than fun, or a challenge, and I've liked difficult shooters in the past.

Which is sad since the premise and setup is pretty interesting.

When was this? According to what I've heard, the game has changed dramatically over the last year or so, going from a disappointing game preview towards something that might well be really fun.

Day One - nothing
Someday - Transistor, Tropico 5, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II
Maybe - Wolfenstein: The New Order, Drakengard 3

Over a year ago, then a few months ago last PAX.

I'll give it a try, but we'll see on release day from reviews whether they really fixed it or not. But, it's the kind of identity issue you get when no one quite knows what kind of game they're making.

Tropico 5 for me, but since I'm out of town I won't be playing for a couple weeks. Makes me want to reconsider that pre-order. Oh well  Roll Eyes

This is me, too, though that didn't stop me from buying the first three iterations of it.

Same here, except make that all 4 other iterations.  I think I keep trying to recapture the magic of the first Tropcio, which I played a ton.
