Well, it's taken an entire month, but it looks like game releases are back on track with things even halfway remotely interesting to talk about. Let's take a look:
PS3: Final Fantasy XIII-2 NeverDead Puddle SoulCalibur V
PSP:
360: Final Fantasy XIII-2 NeverDead Rhythm Party SoulCalibur V
Wii:
DS:
3DS:
PC:
What are you buying this week?

I would be getting Final Fantasy XIII-2 this week, but I'm still not done with the first game.

One of these days I may get back to FFXIII. I think I was still several hours from the magical mark where the world opens up. None the less, that day is far away if it ever comes, so no part II for me.
I am very interested in Never Dead, but I'll wait for reviews.
I always like fighting games for about a day and then never go back to them. Soul Caliber usually fares a little better than that since there's usually a lot to do. And it's been so dry with game releases, I'll probably pick it up. So, yeah, Soul Caliber V.

I missed the Smash Cars sale last week on steam My son would have loved it. As to these games? I bought FXIII sight unseen, got out of the rail section at the beginning and all interest had been lost. I eventually traded it. I can't my way back into drumming up interest for it, given my backlog. SCV would be interesting if I played it often, or played online often, but I don't, so that's just throwing away money (not a habit I can afford). I think SSX is my next purchase. We shall see.

Will wait on reviews (and even with good ones until later this Spring) on NeverDead. After the gaming buffet that were the holidays, I'm still indigested with great game purchases. Just too early in the year to be piling more stuff to the backlog. Not sure when I'll play another FF game. I never picked up FF13 and despite owning some of the previous entries, I've not been in the mood for them for a good while.

Nothing for me off this list. I did grab a cheap copy of Rayman for the 360 though. I lost interest in JRPG's a while ago and have more than enough on the backlog. Next week will mark the first purchase of the year.

I can't wait to play these games again Its been out here in Canuckistan for a few months now, but despite my intentions to buy it I haven't picked it up yet. I might just pull the trigger this week. I'm interested in SC V, but since I wasn't very impressed with IV I'll be waiting for reviews and impressions .

SC V is averaging about 82% for print reviews right now. Here's the first Neverdead review I've seen (from PALGN): 7/10 It's not dead on arrival, but it never reaches its true potential. It's not enough to stand out, but Neverdead will satisfy those willing to try something different.

SC typically plays better with a gamepad. I have a helluva stick on 360 but will still play on pad. Your continued excuses to avoid getting beaten by me are failing good sir!

I'm already feeling like buying SC5 was a mistake. I should have waited on reviews. The last Mortal Kombat set the bar too high for fighting game sequels.

Another good one this week - Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword has been getting mostly very good reviews. Don't confuse it with the crappy Samurai game that came out a couple of weeks ago.
