Which gaming system most monopolizes your precious gaming time...and why/what are you playing?

Anyone who reads any threads I start knows my answer.

I've been playing Devil May Cry, Chrono Trigger, Guitar Hero.

However, Indigo Prophecy on the XBOX is calling out to me.

My 360 has been getting most of my attention lately with Oblivion, but my PC is a close second with Gal Civ 2 and a reawakened interest in MVP 2005 that's taking up a good chunk of time.

Voted 360, but since it is somewhere between here and the repair center in Texas I've been playing mostly PS2 and GalCiv2 for the last week.

I went with Xbox but that's because the last two games I've reviewed were on that. Plus I just started up Psychonauts on it so I'll be playing that until I finish it. My stack of XB games is also larger than the ones I haven't played for PS2 yet so I need to whittle those down first. Think I'll do some of that when I get home tonight from the SMU library where FH and I have been all day.

Oddly enough, my PC hasn't seen much love lately. The only thing I'm really interested in playing on it is the Lazarous mod for Dungeon Siege but after burning out on DQ8 I'm not interested in tackling a lengthy RPG at the moment.

XBOX 360.  It's still shiny and new for me.  I'm playing Oblivion for hours on end.  I've still not delved into PGR3 as much as I'd like, am enjoying online GRAW, and haven't yet touched CoD2.

Still giving love to my other systems, but Oblivion demands most of my time.

Lately, it's been the 360.  Followed by the DS.

Although, this week, I plan on making love with my PS2, Subsistence style.

I would say the DS, with Children of Mana getting most my playtime, Brain Age following, True Swing Golf, and dabs of Animal Crossing.

Then the PS2 with Romancing SaGa.

Then the 360 with finishing up Kameo earlier and Burnout.

I've been playing Romancing Saga on PS2 almost exclusively.

I mix in some DS, Brain Age, Viewtiful Joe, Tetris etc.

PS2 and PC are tied and the PSP (Daxter!) is a close second.

My 360 is less than a month old, so it still has that new console excitement.  I only have a couple of games, but the one I've sunk the most time into is probably Dead or Alive 4.  Oblivion would follow up in the #2 spot.

At the current time it would be roughly split between PC (Dreamfall), Xbox (Tomb Raider Legend replay), and PS2 (Kingdom Hearts 2).  However, if you looked at the year so far then PS2 by a large margin.

Definitely the 360.

I've spent silly numbers of hours on PGR3 so far, and I'm loving GRAW both multiplayer and on my second trip through the singleplayer game on hard.

I've only put around 8 hours or so into DOA4, and I haven't really dug into Far Cry yet.

My PC is close behind with a renewed addiction to my favorite game of yesteryear: Starcraft.

BF2 may slip back into my gaming attention span soon too, but for the moment it's been squeezed out by the Xbox360.

Rise of Legends may fix that soon though.

I voted for the DS.  I like to play this at night while laying in bed to un-wind from the day.  Especially if I dont get home from work until 1:30am.  It is a great way to transition into a relaxed state before going to sleep.  PC and 360 are pratically tied for 2nd.

DS by far, though I've also been putting some time into GTA San Andreas on the Xbox. My girlfriend and I are battling for supremacy on the timed mission modes. Great fun!

The 360 is the only machine that's been on in the house in weeks (oops, machines, we just added one for the upstairs. ) I've been totally addicted to two games: FFXI, and Oblivion.  I have it so bad, that I transferred an Oblivion save to play upstairs - while the tedious loading of the full-version FFXI was going on downstairs!

My only dillemma now is how to work both in, and not just time-wise.  I've been whacking the B button all day trying to get the map in FF, and I've been trying to auto-run in Oblivion over and over.

I know I'll return to my other systems, but for now, let's just say that we know we have no overheating issues with either 360!

360 FTW and PC is dangling behind.

The two PC titles I want to play in the coming months are NWN2 and Titan Quest

360 easily.  I won't touch any of the other systems now.  Wired controllers?  Forget it!  (And won't buy a crappy wireless for the others).  I also love the clean system UI of the 360, jumping into and out of games, into arcade stuff, downloading demos, etc.  So far, the 360 has been a joy to use, more so then other consoles in the past I've bought.

I'm currently hooked on Tomb Raider, and it'll keep me hooked for a while, as I suck at figuring out where the boulder I need to move is, swinging to its position, then getting it to move!  And it always turns out the solutions were so damn easy when I figure them out!

360 and that really says something.  Traditionally, my most played console is a handheld.  I have actually been playing a home console more than either my PSP or my DS and that gem of a console is the 360.  Congrats, Microsoft.

I'm surprised that 360 is number one in the poll. I didn't get 360 because I thought the available game titles are still few and other thant DOA4, I don't have any other games that I am interested in.

PS2, because frankly I play more games on that console than any other one (and I own more for it too).

If it was all-time though, I'd definitely pick my SNES. biggrin
