Whoops.
Somebody let one of the developer's dev-kit Live accounts become visible to the 'normal' public. Sorta like Kathode here, who states that developers can't/aren't allowed to show Live scores because it'll give away whatever they're developing that hasn't been announced yet.

Actually, he freely made it available. He is not a developer. He has a final retail copy of the game. He is a online "tester" for Tecmo and runs the DOACentral website.

TMK - I totally agree with you. The Missing...Kink? Whoa. Note to self - don't post without double checking names and whatnot. They also gave Ridge Racer a 35/40, while King Kong, NFS:MW, and Perfect Dark Zero all got less.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I read somewhere that Ridge Racer on the 360 sold like 8 thousand copies here in the US (compared with 250k+ of titles like Call of Duty 2)?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I read somewhere that Ridge Racer on the 360 sold like 8 thousand copies here in the US (compared with 250k+ of titles like Call of Duty 2)? 9,091, last time I checked. It's the worst-selling 360 title in the US. It's the best-selling title in Japan. If you play Live public matches, many of your opponents will be Japanese, and they will kick your ass. I love the game, but my cheapass nature combined with the realization that such a poor seller will see drastic price cuts soon has kept me a renter only.

such a poor seller will see drastic price cuts soon Makes me wish it didn't come with my bundle. Of the three racing games I have for the 360, it's my least favorite, but not by much. I love the insane map thing. I want to keep unlocking stuff. However, my hopes were a little high from the PSP version. This isn't that good.

It's coming out this week everyone! (no more delays! yay!) Got this from the Team Xbox forums: Good news...my work recieved the game already (Rogers Video in Woodbridge Ontario). We got it last Thursday, however the street date is in fact December 28th. Also DOA Central has a notice up on their site that the game will be finally shipping this week, confirmed. I can't wait to check out the improved online stuff in this game. The lobby looks like it could be pretty interesting....

I've never played a DOA before. Is it at all a button-masher? If it is, I don't think I'd be interested. The only fighting game I've really gotten into was Street Fighter II, and that's because I enjoyed the tactical pacing of the game. My God, was I hooked on that game in college...

DOA is one of the more technical fighters out there, but allows for button-mashing (fyi-I like to button mash) You should and will get your butt kicked by those that don't button mash. heck, the hard core normally get

There's Tag Team matches in this game? Online?
How many people on a team maximum? 2? 3? 4?
Devil... you and I should issue the Poncho Challenge. It can read something like this:
** Take the Poncho Challenge! **
"Devil and Lockdown will take on ANY two player teams. We absolutely suck! So, the challenge is: Will it take you more than 60 seconds to whoop our collective asses! If it does, you lose the challenge!"
It would be sort of like reverse popping-off!
On a slightly more serious note, I plan on getting this game even though I have never touched a DoA game in my life. The only fighting game I was ever good at was Street Fighter II for the nintendo something-or-other. But the online modes and the fact that it isn't a button masher sort of intrigue me. I will just need someone to teach me how to say "I hope you enjoyed kicking my ass" in numerous foreign languages.
I'm IN!

Couldn't be more IN!!!
I LOVED the last DOA on XBox online and the "Poncho Memorial Beat Down" would be a blast.
Too bad that controller isn't wireless...

http://www.gamingtrend.com/GameInfo/GameInfo.php?GameID=3627Up to 16 players online. From the PR Piece: Dead or Alive 4 will break new ground on Xbox Live featuring simultaneous 4-player tag battle for the first time in the series, up to 16-players online at one time, and a stylized and accessible online lobby system that allows players to choose an avatar and a “theme” for their house which will serve as their online lobby that other players can visit to get matched up for a fight. SO realistically, 8 players simultaneously. Either way, I'm in.
