Great weekend. Finished up Gears of War late Friday night/early Saturday morning. From then on it was nothing but FFXII, and I put another 15 or so hours on the clock (probably more than that really since I had a couple of reloads due to some bosses I probably shouldn't have been fighting at that point).

Made more progress in Enchanted arms (up to about 25% now).
Just scratched the surface of Gears of War (still on Act I / Casual).
The big time sink for me was Viva Pinata. About 8 hours with it, all in one day. I have no self-control.

I intended to play BF2142 and did (a little bit)...
...however, I bought Viva Pinata for my daughter and ended up getting sucked in for most of my gaming time.

I completed Saint's Row a few weeks ago, but I put it back in recently to try to finish up all the activities and side missions. The game sunk it's claws in me and I don't want to let go. I also put in a game or two with NBA 2k7 with Ralph-Wiggum.

Nothing but FFXII, my wife was away, so every minute the baby was sleeping I was gaming. I have to imagine I am getting close to the end (47 or 48 hours in now - 50th level primary characters) and apparently I powerlevel more than KG cuz I had no trouble with any bosses.

Heh, to be fair, both were marks or optional bosses- I've obliterated everyone I've encountered in the storyline so far. Though you are obviously much farther than me (all six chars range from Lvl 28 to Lvl 20).

put the gift 360 through it's paces with Gears of War and Call of Duty 3. I don't know if I just got used to it on my older 360 but the fan on this new one seems to be louder. Also grabbed the Gothic 3 demo. No NWN2 or FFXII, however I did glance at their cases.

I played Gears of War and surprisingly only that. I beat it on Casual and then tried out a few online games on Sunday. Unfortunately, I was struck with constant problems trying to connect to open games.
This is the first time I've tried playing on Live for a couple years so I don't know if it's a problem with my connection, crappy matchmaking or just overloaded games on this busy weekend. It would do the searching thing for a while (a little too long) and then it would bring up a server for me to connect to and nearly every time I tried to join it would say it couldn't connect to the server or some crap. Pretty frustrating. I did get through on a couple of them and later on I played a couple games with some GT cats and that was fun.

We got about 3 hours of Railroads! in before a crash, looks like they still got some bugs to work out, but the last patch did help performance. Another 5-6 hours into The Guild 2.
Stronghold Legends got 2 hours of play, maybe 1 hour in DOW:Dark Crusade. Finally, Gothic 3 demo got about a total of 2 hours of play from me and the three kids, mostly my youngest son messing around in it (he loves open games).

I've been trying to play at least one skirmish per day of Company of Heroes to try to hone my skillz for my weekly match with some rl buddies. I still suck and lost at all my attempts.
Saturday I played about an hour or so of THPS3. Playing some old PS2 games while I wait for my 360 to return. Saw Borat and watched the 'Horns lose to K State. Oh well, there's always next year.
Sunday I went shopping with the gf to spend my birthday present ($150 gift certificate at Circuit City) and picked up Guitar Hero, which I never picked up because it looked stupid, as well as the SW:EAW expansion and Prey for the PC. Never installed the PC games and played Guitar Hero for the rest of the day. My left hand is an aching claw.
Is it just me or is Kobra really making Guild 2 look good?

Played a bit of Fifa 07 multiplayer, majority of my time was spent with Gears of War, brother and I rocked out with Guitar Hero 2 (where I'm actually really enjoying the difficult bass-lines), and I barely scratched the surface with Viva Pinata.
I have so many games to play; it's ridiculous.

I played through Gears of War on casual. I can't decide if I want to replay it on hardcore or move on to Splinter Cell and come back later. I also played my 2 weekly games of Madden 360 and NCAA 360. Even though I am tired of both games, I am in leagues.
I also have Call of Duty 3 and Lego Star Wars 2 untouched and waiting. Yet GoW hardcore keeps calling me back. What a great game.

Finished up GoW with someone from around these parts (or OO, buliwlf?). Great game and I'm looking forward to playing through on hardcore with some people. Also played some CoD3 and am enjoying that one as well.

Played all but the last level of GoW on hardcore and maybe 3 hours of Call of Duty 3. Taking CoD3 back to rental store tomorrow, so, I am done with it. Probably won't pick it up to finish it til I get a PC worthy of playing it. Just don't like the CoD games on a console for some odd reason.
LOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE Gears though.

Wow thats pretty lame. Well, maybe it is a good move since COD2 was a sales failure on the PC due to the fact there are so many much much better WWII games. If anything, this is like admitting their game doesn't "Measure up" to the modern crop of PC FPS's.
