Marvel Ultimate Alliance.  I've been trying to unlock all the costumes as I get the disks.  That's why it's taking so long.

I also recently received The Guild 2 as a result of a combination of pimping by Kobra on the PC boards and a deal at GoGamer.  I know he's a viral marketer but I'm so weak.  I feel shame.

I recently started up Disciples 2 and will probably play some of that.

Also, I think I have clearance to play some online Gears of War tomorrow night.

Oh yeah, a buddy of mine may come over for some MP NCAA Football 2007 on Monday.  Somewhat ironic that we'll be playing instead of watching real bowl games.

Happy New Year all.

Zelda, Zelda, and more Zelda.  Really looking forward to putting in some marathon play sessions in on this puppy.  I'm also planning on messing around with getting PS1 emulation working on my PSP (thanks Destructor!), and maybe I'll mess around with a few Virtual Console titles but, really, it's all about the Zelda

God knows, as I'm going to be at a party.  Wii, definitely, and various PC games.  Maybe The One MMO Beta.

Burning through the Xbox version of Eragon for review. Here's my two word synopsis thus far: It blows. But it looks short so a solid three or four hours with it and I should be able to knock it out. Then on to movie watching this weekend and when those are finished I'm planning on cranking up Bully and powering through the rest of the classes. I'm still not out of chapter 1 yet but I'm having a blast so far. Way, way better than GTA: San Andreas was.

3 day weekend for me, but with possible birthday festivities on Monday and New years eve stuff it looks like I'll have less free time for gaming.  Hoping to get in some Vegas, Ultimate Alliance and Dirge of Cerberus.

Possibly will also play some Oblivion, Baldur's Gate and/or Call of Duty 2.

I'll be continuing to progress through Final Fantasy XII.  I'm at just under 77 hours now, and I think that out of the past four or five years, that's the most time I've put into a game in as short a timeframe as this. Still absolutely loving the game even more with every hour I put into it too. icon_biggrin So far it's been a complete joy to play, and is easily one of the very few from this past generation that I would score a perfect 10.

My new-found addiction to Texas Hold'Em on Live Arcade will likely rear its ugly head even more. I'm not the type to play random people online, but for some reason I'm wholly addicted to playing this game against people on Live, whether at a standard table match or in a tourney. Lots of fun, especially when you can avoid having those moronic kids in the game who insist on always either folding or going all in. icon_wink

I'll probably get some time into various other random titles too.

I'm still playing Saints Row and enjoying the heck out of it.  I just have the Westside Rollerz missions left, but I've been trying to finish up some of the activities like Chop Shop, Hitman and Mayhem.  Insurance Fraud was dead simple once I figured out a trick:

I'm in limbo right now, as I don't really want to start anything until FFIII and The Longest Journey arrive next week.  I might put a few more hours into Xenosaga III and see if it does anything to grab me (it hasn't after about 3 hours), and I may also give Neverwinter Nights 2 another look.  I shelved it about 5 hours in because it was boring me to tears, but I really do want to like it.

Like most RPGs, XS3 is a slow starter.  Doesn't help that combat starts off way too easy as well.  I liked the beginning area but it seems like for most people it didn't really grab them until they got to the second act.

I think part of my problem is that I've spent close to a full hour (out of the 3 I've played) simply reading through the somewhat cryptic database in order to get caught up on everything.  I played the original when it first came out in 2003 and never made it all the way through X2, so trying to get back up to speed has been a bit daunting.  Not to mention the universe is one of the most complex I've ever seen.

Yeah, it's overwhelming.  Personally, I watched the XS1 cinematic DVD along with a GameFAQs plot summary to get up to speed for XS3.  I actually played through XS2 immediatelly prior so no issues there for me.  Contrary to internet opinion, quite a lot *did* happen in XS2 so a detailed plot summary/cinematics viewing really is necessary.  I don't think the in game summary cuts it.

I'll finally reply to one of these since I'm out of a gaming slump.

I'll be going away for the weekend so I'll bring the DS and get deep into Final Fantasy III.  The first three hours have been great, can't wait to play more.  icon_smile

My kids have been monopolizing the 360 with Viva Pinata.  I could just kick them off but it's Christmas break and they don't get much gameplaying in during school.   It's also the first game they've really been sucked into on the system.  I'll also be playing Viva Pinata and R6:Vegas.  I also hope to team up with a friend to finish Gears on hardcore in coop mode.  I'm at the last scene and I admit I'm not man enough to finish it on my own.

Knights of the Old Republic on the original Xbox. I picked it up at Target for 5 bucks a couple months ago and have finally gotten fairly deep into it. What a game!!

I may also get into College Hoops 2K7 on the 360, but I fear it will suck me in and I will lose all daylight hours.

Also, a bit of Thief 2 on the PC if I get a chance.

I'm up to the playoffs in NHL '07 (Go Isles!).  Time to bring the cup home.

And Tony Hawk came in today, so I'll put that through it's paces.

Maybe I need to pick this up at some point.  We have it on Gamecube and it looks awful, I will assume the PS2 version is far better.

With my entire family in town and a tremendous number of assorted things I am responsible for doing I have virtually no time to myself. I anticipate the only games I will play this weekend are the occasional game of College Hoops 2K7, perhaps a round of Burnout, and maybe, if I get extremely lucky, a tiny bit of WoW with depward.
