Weekend Playlist 22/Sep/06

I'm hoping to get some major time with Okami tonight after our Pampered Chef party guests depart.  Haven't touched it since release day due to time constraints.

That and Advance Wars DS has me all wrapped up in it's War Room mode. I'm 3/4 of the way through the campaign, but I can't get enough of the 1 off battles. What a great game.

Wrapping up Enchanted Arms early Saturday/Sunday morning and then I plan on playing World of Warcraft for the remainder of my weekend. I have Saint's Row to finish still, but I'll start on that Monday after work.

This weekend is free Guild Wars: Nightfall preview weekend for ANYONE.   

I will be involved with that as well as some CoH and Fight Night here and there.

For some Okami, guess I should get some more playtime in with Rocket Slime with my new DSL, Loco Roco needs some love and NHL 2k7 with dep and gator.  WE SHALL RISE TO DOMINANCE AGAIN!

My Fair Lady and I fly out to Miami tonight for a cruise that starts tomorrow and last through the next week. So no gaming for me for a while. Although I did pick up Black earlier this week and wihle it's nifty to blast everything in site and the missions do take a while, that perspective shift it pulls whenever you reload kills my eyes.

Been feeling the itch for WoW, but I'm not a raider and everyone I know raids...I hate detest 40 man raids.  So, knowing that I think I won't re-activate, but I love me some WoW with a good group.  Probably play some:

I need to do some hardcore playing to finish up Lego Star Wars II if I decide to pick up Just Cause this next week.  The story mode won't take too long, but going back and trying to 100% everything might.

Heading home for Friday and Saturday, so I'll be playing some Bounty Hounds on the PSP.  Once I'm back on campus it'll be time for some more Samurai Warriors 2 on the 360.

For me it's going to be like the last couple of weekends:   Okami sprinkled with some Yakuza/Saints Row/GRAW in between watching episodes of Veronica Mars season 1 & 2 plus catching up on my DVR recordings.  I may also try to finish up God of War.

Pulling up dead shrubs from the landscaping... freaking drought... maybe after that some Test Drive Unlimited. If I manage to finsh single player in TDU, then back to Saints Row and possibly picking up Lego Star Wars II.

well got godfather 360 and just cause today,i am absolutley loving just cause...but only played a bit of both,godfather is okay,but EA make you use the control system for fighting that was kinda like in final round 3...which i didnt like

and as always get some final fantasy 11 time in...oh and continue on with enchanted arms which is improving alot,i am getting to like this a lot more now

I recommend you try Age of Empires on the DS.  Its like Advanced Wars done right.  I just couldn't get into Advanced Wars, it felt too 'Shallow' for some reason, while AOE-DS, now that is something grand.

Just cause isn't due out till the 26th, how did you manage to get it?

On the AOE vs. AW:DS front, last week I played the heck out of AOE:DS, aobsolutely love the game but I put it down this week for a change of pace and started playing AW:DS.  I'm almost done with the tutorials and at first it didn't grab me but last night I could feel it starting to sink its hooks into me, I think I'm on the last tutorial mission.

I also hope to get some time in with the new BFME2 patch and I hope to get some Warcraft III MP in with some friends.  I have to do all of this before my girlfriend gets off from work on Saturday night then I won't game until Tuesday.

It's a cold rainy fall evening here in Michigan.  Reminds me of the fall days of years past when I'd sit on the couch for hours and play the Playstation after school.

That never happened, but I like to imagine that it did.

I should be working on finding another job and/or launching my businesses.  Instead I have the itch to play my PS2 for the first time in weeks.  I'll be firing up one of my games-in-progress, either Xenosaga (all the talk about XS3 has me in the mood to play some more of Ep. 1), Star Ocean: TTEOT (haven't played it since the week it came out) or DQ VIII.  Or maybe Dark Cloud 2.  Time to go downstairs and pick one.

That's how I'm playing it.  I'm about 2 hours in and it looks and works great except one of the cinematics didn't play - it just gave me a black screen then threw me into a battle.  The other cinematics have played fine so far so it might have been an odd thing.  I hope so.

hmm i am in england,but i was under the impression it came out on the same day in the U.S

i am loving the game,its apparently the biggest ingame enviroment except a MMO....bigger than far cry's island,only this one is free roaming and packed with civilians,towns,airports,volcanoes,...and you can nab any vehicle and tour the island(even a airplane or helecopter)

I'm back into Fight Night and doing well with it, so I'm going to keep going until I get frustrated again.

I'm digging NHL '07, so that'll see more action this weekend.

And I'm intrigued by Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, so I may run out and grab that for my portable fix.

Ah, that makes sense.  Apparently it has already been released in the UK but not until this next Tuesday here in the US.  I guess I will have to settle for playing through the demo again.
