I don't know about you, but this week flew by for me despite the fact that I haven't had one good night's sleep.
This weekend sees me finishing up the cabling job for the X360's pending arrival (super shout out to Purge for his help), my son's first birthday bash on saturday and then an evening with PR_GMR, Tareeq and possibly Ralph Wiggam and Captain Caveman.
As for gaming, I'll probably play just Battles of Prince of Persia. I'm on mission 17 of 24. While the story isn't super and the AI isn't perfect (like Advanced Wars DS), I must say again, I'm loving playing it.
Might also get some time in with Killer 7. Possibly Okami if the mood strikes.

If I play anything it will be a beta for an upcoming MMO on PC, but that is about it.

I'm thinking I'm going to be concentrating on Tales of the Abyss. It seems to fit what I'm in the mood for right now, though I do worry that I won't be able to finish it before FFXII hits (evidently TotA is like a 70 hour game) but maybe it will be so good I'll put off FFXII! This weekend sees me finishing up the cabling job for the X360's pending arrival (super shout out to Purge for his help), my son's first birthday bash on saturday and then an evening with PR_GMR, Tareeq and possibly Ralph Wiggam and Captain Caveman. Congratulations! We've got my daughter's first birthday bash coming up next weekend!

I've been following the release of FSX closely enough that I'm in the mood for flying again. So, put me down for some FS9 (I'm not upgrading to FSX until I upgrade my 'puter).
On the DS, Advance Wars.
I'm ready to give Dead Rising another go. I got frustrated by the need to repeat the early steps over and over when you died, but it's been a while since I've played it, and I'm kind of interested in playing again.

I'm thinking I'm going to be concentrating on Tales of the Abyss. Cool, let us know your impressions on that one. Myself, I'm going to try and play some Okami and Just Cause in between episodes of Lost season 2 and The Unit season 1.

I decided to wait until the backwards compatibility fix comes in for MK: Armageddon so I don't have to unlock everything on two systems, so I might go try and find a cheap copy of Black or finish up Lego Star Wars 2. I've also gotten the itch to dig up Metal Arms from my box of oldies and give it a try on the 360. Also, if you haven't played Psychonauts, it's on Steam for $20 now. Go do the world some good and play it!

I am SO ready for this weekend.
A good fill of NBA2k7 and NHL2k7, followed by some Okami and God Hand and the DS is going to get some loving.

One of my favorite games this generation. If you haven't played it at all, you're in for a treat. The humor is awesome, the gameplay is nice and varied and the levels are a hoot. Huzzah for you!

Devil Summoner and Valkyrie Profile 2 will most likely dominate play. Also planning on spending some time with Phantasy Star Universe (since I'm itching for an MMO) and some NBA2k7 and NHL2k7 with some Day of Defeat: Source.

Probably Phantasy Star Online beta. Need to get back to Okami, as well. I got distracted by travel and then haven't made my way back. Also need to see if I can get back into Dead Rising, Enchanted Arms, or Test Drive or else they will be going to Gamestop for credit for Splinter Cell.

I'm playing through Dead Rising at the moment. In addition to that, I'll probably play some NBA2k7 and Castlevania:Dawn of Sorrow for the DS. Just picked that one up used, and I'm really enjoying it.

A little something for all platforms this weekend. More Enchanted Arms on the 360 and trying to finish NSMB on the DS (almost done!). On the PS2, I popped in GTA3 the other day and realized I didn't make if very far into the game, so that may get some playing time. I also recently picked up the Gothic 2 Gold Edition, so I'll probably install and play some of that on my PC. Um...a review title that I can't name right now Can you answer yes or no if we name it for you? Could it be Guitar Hero 2?!?

Hey, Caveman, you got Dead Rising! What do ya think? Pretty punishing, huh? The father-in-law is coming for my daughter's 3rd birthday party tomorrow and he'll be spending two nights on the couch so this weekend is all about the DS. Probably Castlevania and I'm nearing the end of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. But he doesn't arrive until tomorrow so tonight is all about The Godfather on the Xbox 360. Holy CRAP is that game brilliant. I love it. And I still have to get back to Okami so I can finish that off. I'm probably 3-4 hours from the end. --- Edit: an hour later, I come back to finish this post with a status update. The father-in-law is sick! He's not coming! This is, of course, unfortunate news (for him) and very fortunate news for Don Mortoni. I should have plenty of Godfather quality time this weekend.

It's fucking brutal. I must have failed taking down Carlito about 6 times in one of the early fights before I decided to approach the battle with a Kaitana in hand. My main nemeses now are those punk ass bitches that ride around the quad in the jeep. You can't even begin to understand how much I loathe them. Their deaths shall bring me much joy.

I'm wrapped up in a Civ III game right now, but plan to take some time to try out Sacred ($1.99 at Best Buy). warning's site has given me the itch to fire up Grandia on the PSOne. If I get a chance, I'd like to play a little Atelier Marie on the Dreamcast.
And I know I'll be playing Lego Star Wars II with the boys.

Ended up registering for Gametap last night, and spent the entire night playing old arcade games. Rastan, Golden Axe, Defender, Dig Dug, Strider, Baseball Stars 2. Ahhh, good times. Plus, I've got Worms: Armageddon, Kohan II, Stronghold, Tropico II, Icewind Dale II, Midieval Conquest (a 'Majesty' clone), Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, and Planescape: Torment all downloaded and waiting for me when I get home tonight. Gonna be a good gaming weekend.
