Pay no attention to the pasty white guy bailing out our Puerto Rican Gamer.
Sure to be even more fun with more incorrect predictions, its:
The Weekend Playlist
What games are you looking forward to playing on this fine MLB playoff weekend?
Myself, I will be attempting to muster up the motiviation to play Medal of Honor MP and maybe get some time into Saboteur before I decide to send it back to GameFly. There's a slightly more than 0% chance that I may throw in LEGO Rock Band.

Thank you to the pasty white guy that bailed my Puerto Rican ass out. You deserve a raise! So I just learned that I will likely get no gaming time this weekend... because of a short video promo that I'm doing as a favor to my supervisor at work.. and its due Monday morning. UGH!! I might just be able to feed my League Of Legends addiction a tiny bit tonight, and nothing more.

Only my son and I are home this weekend, so Halo Reach Co-op, Quake 2 Co-op, Medieval 2 TW hotseat and many sessions boardgaming. Possibly some F1 2010 hotseat if there's any time still remaining, which I really doubt.

I think I may try to get a bit more time in with Shadow Complex. I had been stuck in an area chock-full of enemies, but earlier in the week I took a break from studying for a quick session and it wound up being 2 hours of discovery and non-stop action. Plus I picked up some nifty armor additions which are really adding to the gameplay. Amazing how much fun you can get out of a $10 game.

Yup, that game is great. I played it back to back normal->hard when I first played it and then right into the hardest difficulty, although at that point I got distracted by something.

Planning on in no particular order:
Fallout 3 (PC) - Restarted it with intentions to finish it until NV becomes more stable... FEAR: Perseus Mandate (PC) - Trying to finish this up soon. Dead Space (360) - Hope to get back to this.
Have the PC CE New Vegas coming from Gamestop soon so I need to get around to clearing out more backlog. Picked up 'Nier' on 360 as well recently to add to the pile.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Which after about 2 hours of play time is impressively awesome. Talk about going into a game with low expectations and being blown away.

FishSim 2 will be running in the background, as always.
Other than that, might try some Fight Night 4 on the 360, or the new EA MMA game if someone has it to rent.

Trying to play New Vegas, but the gorram thing keeps crashing, locking up, or encountering any number of game-stopping bugs (last night I got stuck in the environment while a pack of geckos chewed my face off). I want to like it, but the game is making it extremely difficult to do so.

I'm back to playing some Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the PC. I might also fire up Fable 2 to get all the gold that has been building up for a year, but I'm sure it will take some time to remember where I actually left off in quests.

I really wanted to finish the Medal of Honor MW campaign this weekend. But I never got around to it. The game has such a been there, done that feel that I can't motivate myself to go back to it. I haven't been playing any games seriously in a few weeks. I'm hoping Rock Band 3 can re-energize my gaming batteries.

I didn't touch the XBox. Instead, I finally I got around to installing Mount and Blade and spent probably close to eight hours in the arena and getting my captured ass drug around the countryside. Polearms from horseback are nasty.

I didn't spend as much time with Fallout as I had hoped, and the few hours I did get to spend were mostly wasted on a dungeon that I wasn't powerful enough to get through. Of course it took nearly 2 hours of struggling before I finally accepted the fact that I wasn't strong enough yet and loaded up an earlier save.

Never touched Shadow Complex as I had hoped. I did get a bit of MW2 MP in with Hark, but the only gaming I did of any substance was playing pool throughout the weekend. 6 hours on Thursday night with my league team, 6 hours on Friday with Moliere, and 4 1/2 hours on Saturday helping a new teammate develop her skills in preparation for her league debut this coming Thursday. With my wife being in Korea until Thanksgiving I'm left with free time in the evenings to find something to pass the time, so lately I've been playing a lot more pool than usual (which is a lot to begin with), and it continues to help my game to improve. But my Xbox continues to feel neglected.

With my wife being in Korea until Thanksgiving... Buh-whah? Jaime is her company's senior expert on environmental compliance audits of military installations per federal guidelines (recycling programs, waste programs, hazardous materials and waste programs, etc). A few months ago she had an opportunity to bid on two major projects, one at Osan Air Base, and one at Yongsan Garrison. Her company won both proposals, and so she is directing two major projects in South Korea, each lasting two weeks. However, the primary issue was that the two projects would have a two-week break in between, and she didn't want to make the long trip back only to have to return a few weeks later. So she decided to remain in Asia and will be visiting Beijing, China and Bangkok, Thailand during the two-week break she has between projects. Fortunately her roommate from college will be joining her for her tips to China and Thailand so that she won't be traveling alone. She won't be returning home until the weekend before Thanksgiving (she left two weeks ago). I've been left to manage our finances (which she has handled throughout our relationship - I haven't seen a bill or check in almost 10 years), keep up with her company mail, take care of the house, do the grocery shopping (I'll make quick trips for a few items, but I've never had to keep the house stocked - most trips lately have included cleaning supplies, bagels, and beer - everything a short-term bachelor needs), pay all bills, etc. And keep up with exams, projects, etc. While I enjoy occasional moments alone, this is the longest time apart we've had in our entire relationship of almost 10 years. I haven't been this excited for Thanksgiving in my entire life. That turkey will probably never taste better (unless we deep fry it).

My weekend ended up being almost exclusively Halo Reach. My son and I completed our co-op campaign, did a few lengthy sessions of fire fight and spent many hours in online mplay. My son rocked at the online where I was quite sucktastic - only managed to stay out of the sewer half of the time. We managed to find a little time for Quake 2 co-op and play a MII TW battle.
