We're almost to the Fall Run, what's on you're buy list?

Right now I have Batman: Arkham Asylum, Rock Band Beatles, and Scribblenauts all preordered. Assassin's Creed II, Lego Rock Band, and Lego Indiana Jones 2 are all must haves as well. There's a few others I'm interested in but those will have to depend on reviews/impressions. Seems like there are a lot of decent games coming out by the end of this year.

Operaiton Flashpoint 2 definately if it is anything like i hope.
Dragon Age is a no brainer really.
IL2 looks good so far.

The saving grace for me, is the library.Thanks to them I can play the most popular titles at least.
I only buy stuff i can play for a long time, ie RPG.s and Multiplayer focues games.

A game that costs 70euros (almost 100USD) on release, is way too much for me if it isn't something stellar.

If the only item in your entertainment budget is labeled "Video Gaming"... then, yeah, you can spend a fair amount of money on them.  Subtract in-theater movies, popcorn, new music, etc., then add the fact that I play games I like for hundreds of hours - and I can afford every game I want, lol. You know, like four a year, sometimes even five or six!   

Plus, everyone knows me - and routinely, my birthday and holiday gifts are usually video games, alcohol, or gift certs for those two items.  And I think I really do have the best timing ever on when my birthday arrives, followed a few months after by Christmas. 

Bring 'em on!

(shrug) It's only $750 on the must buy list. For the rental list, assume about $200 worth of that gets converted to "buy", and another $200 for things that pop out of nowhere and we end up at about $1200 worth of stuff. Then assume that about a quarter of the titles don't click with me and I end up ebaying them , so we're left with about $900 worth of purchases. That's sizeable, but I have room for it in the budget.

What will you do when the Forum Effect owns your soul... and the list is doubled, tripled, or quadrupled?    Oh, and btw, let us know what you end up doing, because most of us could use the advice, lmao!   

As for the forum effect, been there. Done that. There's already about a half dozen titles on both lists that got on there due to it already. But although I don't post much, I've been reading here since the "Gold" days and I've gotten good at holding off on titles. (Plus Gamefly helps a lot with the marginal "that looks interesting" titles that in the past I ended up buying.)
