Just a fair warning to everyone- evidently Halo 3 has been thoroughly spoiled.  Supposedly the ending is up on Youtube and there have even been people changing their Gamertag's to spoilers and then sending out friend requests to people.

Anyone worried about this might want to avoid playing any Live games with random strangers and be careful looking at any comments threads on blogs, game websites, youtube, etc.

Okay, time to keep my surf habits to only well known (and policed) sites until this game comes out and I've finished it. Just like what I did with Bioshock.

Good thing I pretty much don't play my 360 at all nowadays - keeps me relatively safe from all the asshats of the world.

Thanks for the spoilers, Kevin!   icon_evil  thumbsdown

I knew I was going to have the Halo 3 ending spoiled for me, but I didn't know how it was going to be spoiled.  Now I guess I'll have to feign surprise when the game is spoiled for me.

How about a spoiler spoiler warning next time?

Well, internet douchenozzles ruined the ending for the last Harry Potter book for me, no reason for them to hold off now.

Honestly, though, I don't think I would even care if somebody spoiled the story for me, since I could barely tell the the plot to the last two anyway.  And that's only because I read that other thread with the synopsis (and ensuing arguements).   ninja

yeah, he's on the Titanic when the Master Chief sinks it after surviving the Appollo 13 mission.  The whole coherency unravels though when we find out that Master Chief is actually a ghost and really died when he crash landed on the first Halo.

Frankly, Halo's story will never be all that exciting to me, the characters just aren't fleshed out enough for me to be that concerned with the story.  But even so, while it doesn't concern me to be spoiled, I still start books from the beginning, so I'm not going to go out of my way to find spoilers when I could just play through the full game and enjoy things as they unfold.

i agree about the characters...i guess it has somethign to do with not knowing who or what is in that masterchief suit apart from knowing his name is John 117 or something like that....

i noticed it in Halo 1 and 2,but have noticed it in the trailers for 3 as well. that master chief kinda......

actually i wont continue....i never know when it might turn out true what i just thought paranoid
