details on this new idea:

Quote
Collective is a curated platform that enables creators to post ideas, and gamers to judge whether those ideas should become reality or not. Every idea that's successful with the community is checked and helped by Square Enix, while a partnership with world-leading crowdfunding platform Indiegogo enables gamers to then back the ideas they love the most.

even more interesting:

Plus - you could have the chance to work with some of the older Eidos IP from our back-catalogue. More information on submission parameters and IP selection will be made available at GDC Next, November 5-7 at the LA Convention Center.

if they still own the IP someone should come up with something for Revenant...

Who posts ideas? Square Enix staff, or everyone?

This essentially boils down to Squeenix having run out of ideas.

And there's only a small microtransaction for each idea you post.

Ideas are a dime a dozen, sure, but I'd still rather use my own ideas and just make my own game.

Oh wait, I am.

This kind of reeks of incompetence and a creatively bankrupt studio atmosphere. But I guess that's expected for the company that's letting one designer run rampant with his Lightning waifu obsession.

Here's an idea.
1. Make a sequel to FF tactics
2. Swim in pool full of money

oh, so you already know how much they pay for ideas then.

I've already come up with a few in another thread.  I'm expecting a check for 2˘ any day.

but here's a few more, just in case they're listening
a Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain game that doesn't involve the words f2p or moba.
Just Cause 3 with the MP mod built in
Deus Ex Human Evolution with boss fights developed in-house and a disturbed protaganist
Hitman Retribution.  Agent 47 kills all those who killed those he loved after he killed those other people.  find a way to work in a son he never knew he had
Tomb Raider '13-2 with a slightly older Lara who gets into trouble and then gets back out of it.  add real fire effects for the hype.

I'm tellin' ya, Revenant 2!  A proper Urban Chaos sequel! buy the rights to Freedom Fighters, start making a sequel, hype it up and then cancel it!
