Sweet, game of the year 2011 was decided today.

Seriously though, Uncharted 2 was one of the best games I've ever played. Uncharted 3 is by far my most anticipated game from this point until its release.

edit: 3D Confirmed, now here's a game that might be worth seeing in 3D.

Hoping for co-op within the campaign, or at least split screen or something. Since first party studios share tech, and Killzone 2 looks like it might have split screen, things may get interesting.

Also, I'm really, really, really, hoping for more segments with no, or very little combat. Screw what reviewers say, I loved the scenes in Uncharted 1 and 2 where Nate and Sully, or Nate and Tenzin are just exploring. Those scenes were such a nice palette cleansers.

Personally I hope not.  Drake loses something if he has a co-op partner that can do everything he can do.  Plus it feels to limiting on the game design to mandate that he be accompanied at all times.

Awesome!  I think they should stop trying to compete with COD and other MP games and drop VS MP completely to focus on more important stuff like co-op campaign and such.

it's funny how a dude with a shottie wearing a wifebeater can take so many AK-47 rounds to the chest.  I was playing around last night and found it suually takes 3 shots from the pistol anywhere in the body to kill someone, while the AK I can pump about a dozen rounds into an baddie before he drops.  Apparently you can also hit them in the head sometimes and they'll just shrug it off

Yeah, Uncharted 2 fixes a lot of those issues. Enemies wear armor or have other justifications for taking more than one bullet to kill. If an enemy doesn't die from a headshot, he'll react in an even more than usual, giving you plenty of time to take him down.

Of course, it's still always silly that Nate can take plenty of bullets and shrug it off.

Does he actually take a bullet though?  I thought they were basically showing that the bullets were getting closer and closer until his luck finally runs out and then he is shot.
