Be sure to use the 2 month Live card before you use the 12 month card, to make sure you get both
Damn When I was setting up it ask for credit card # so I figured it would charge me after the 2 months so I put the 12 month one in instead and figured at the end of it I can use the 2 month card. It did how ever ask for the CC on the 12 month setup.
Live will ask for a CC# no matter which route you take.

What do you mean? If you got signed up on Live, and you now have an active account, it should just work automatically. If you mean how the Friends list works, it's easy. Just click on Friends, then Add Friend, and add the gamertag of the person you want on your list. Once you get a list built up, you can go to your Friends list and see who's online, send & receive invites, send voice mail, etc.
Also, each individual "Live aware" game you have will have a Live section in it's menu, allowing you to do all the same stuff, from within the game, rather than at the Dashboard menu. Let me know if you have any other Live questions.
I notice the Xbox has like a 50million block memory thing why would I need a memory card?
Nope, you do not need a memory card at all. The only reason you would need one, is if you wanted to back up your saves, or to transfer your saves from one Xbox to another (like taking your save game to a friend's house). You can also get a device called an Action Replay, that comes with an 8 mb memory card, that will allow you to put your saves on your PC, download saves from the internet ("power saves" with all levels, weapons, cars, whatever, enabled. cheats if you will)
