the two original creators of Space Quest are back! Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy are working on a new adventure game set in space, and it's called SpaceVenture. no word of a Kickstarter yet ( ) but it wouldn't surprise me to see one soon.

Not just any two guys, but Two Guys From Andromeda! I remember back in the good ol' days playing the Space Quest games with my step brother, friends and I all collaborating trying to solve puzzles and laugh about them. Good times.

There's a live chat tonight at 9pm (Eastern). Sounds interesting, I'd like to hear about the old Sierra days... Details on this update page.

Cluck Y'egger - Astro Cock imploring everyone to support the kickstarter. Now, is it just me, or is the voice Patrick Warburton?

As much as I want these guys to succeed, my god do they need to cut back on the amount of updates they send out. Three or four a day?! Consolidate these things, guys, and stop using it as a platform to advertise other kickstarters.

I think it's an impersonation based on the comments. Though, they did say that if they could get the money, which is looks like they can't, they had connections to get Patrick Warburton. As much as I want these guys to succeed, my god do they need to cut back on the amount of updates they send out. Three or four a day?! Consolidate these things, guys, and stop using it as a platform to advertise other kickstarters. This. You aren't the only person complaining about it. That said, they're on Reddit today... http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/upxvi/iam_we_are_guys_from_andromeda_scott_murphy_and/

OMG. Greatest news ever. I grew up on the Space Quest games. The first adventure game I ever played was Space Quest II. SQII was probably my first one as well! Well, until it prompted me to insert disk 2, which my dad hadn't copied. Only years later did I know how it continued

Same here, I LOVED space quest games!

I had the same problem with the Jane Jenson one, and for both I ended up clicking on the "unsubscribe from updates" link that is at the bottom of the update emails. It gets to the point where I almost get so annoyed by so many updates that I want to take my money back.

There was a big last minute surge (over $40,000 in the last 14 hours) and they've reached their goal.

With ~13 hours to go, so you can still contribute if you were looking to jump on the bandwagon.
